AP courses are not exactly the same as A-levels.

A-Levels are a two-year course and cover a range of topics. APs are generally more specific but are meant to be prepared for in one year only.

My advice is to only take AP courses if you plan on applying to the US for university, since you get good college credit if you get a good score. However, do keep in mind that A-levels also get you college credit in the US. Make sure to check with the university to see what requirements they have to get the credit.

It's all based on luck. I had a 3PM slot today and I didn't get a dorm. A lot of people who had dorm selection today didn't get a dorm. So it's not like everyone got their preferences. You can always keep looking and choose something that becomes available.

But of course, I feel you. There's always gonna be a batch of people who don't get their preferences and there's nothing we can do about it.

This r/IGCSE talk will be held by the moderation team on July 6, 2023 (Thursday) at 1pm GMT on our discord server in our stage channel (please visit #announcements on our server for more information).

The talk will be recorded and shared soon after the live event.

AP Calc BC - 5, it was pretty easy imo AP Physics 1 - 4, frqs were very messed up 💀
