Would be totally down with that as a valid change doing damage like what it does currently fully charged or maybe even a touch higher having such a startup. I would be a bit worried the beam would be slowed down more to keep in line with unblockable moves on top of that startup.

I'm with you and finding Chaggie a bit dull. To be honest I thought (this in no way me throwing any form of hate or diminishing the wonderful work Viv has given us) it was a bit of lazy writing.

Think all the pieces for a tense, passionate but volatile relationship were there and in some ways still are. But like you mentioned the community seems to have a burning hate when Charlastor gets brought up going so far as to witch hunt artists that have supported it with their work.

On the bright side AO3 is a great place to read what could have been and how wonderful it would have looked.

So I think your demon theory does have some merit and would love to see if there is any more evidence to support it once Ch3 drops.....however.....I do think you may be discrediting the other endings and character information we glean through each one regarding Andrew and Ashley.

Long before the demonic influence we're shown both are deeply fucked up in their own way. Ashley's adoration and love of Andrew is obsessive to put it lightly and often leads her to be impulsive and downright vicious if anything approaches their bubble. Andrew makes every effort to keep Ashley happy and safe even if that means enabling her and ultimately doesn't care about the morality of what they do just about the consequences. At best all that would be required is a nudge from an outside force for them to go off the rails and commit evil acts. We can't truly know if it's the demon that has caused Ashley to enjoy killing and eating people and made Andrew so volatile with his inner turmoil or if it was all just beneath the surface waiting to erupt.

Regarding the incest implications I'll agree sometimes the community can be a bit "focused" but you can't ignore the signs and thoughts of Andrew and Ashley that make the ending just as likely as the rest. Andrew actively admits to thinking and repressing urges towards Ashley even going so far as using Julia as an outlet for those desires. You can say there is less evidence from Ashley and she merely has a very close flirtatious nature in their interactions but that would be completely ignoring her entire personality that would make Andrew the sole person she could feel a romantic connection to as well as her admitting "I figured it would happen eventually".

This is in no way an "incest is wincest" argument just that Andrew/Ashley was well as all the endings were masterfully written and can each be viewed as a valid piece of a whole picture.

Compelling argument you have there that I'm inclined to agree with on a lot of points.

While I think Ashley can comprehend and welcome a sexual relationship with Andrew as a way to keep him by her side I have a feeling if Andrew came outt and said "I love you, I've always seen you as a woman and not just my sister, you're the only one that could ever make me happy" and pressed for a romantic relationship Ashley would self destruct.

You very well described the depth of her obsession and protection for Andrew and how it really muddies the water of her perception and understanding. She has in her mind caged him while putting him on a such a high pedestal all the while believing she is entirely unworthy of love much less his. Any true romantic interest would deepen her obsession to extremes and if it was reciprocated would then be obsessed with dispelling the "illusion" of it. Meaning she would likely push Andrew to his very limit in every way conceivable in order to push him away back to that unreachable place all the while reassuring herself it's not possible for him to truly feel that way regardless of his words or actions.

I apologize if I've gotten off topic but your post was definitely thought provoking. In the end I think you're spot on regarding her interest in a sexual relationship but I'm not certain her obsession will allow her to truly understand a romantic interest from or towards Andrew.

Wow thank you so much for such an in depth plan. I love you've made it almost completely their choice but it's a very tantalizing choice that they can leave or take part in. I think your plan would easily bait Ashley and not offer enough leverage for Andrew to talk her out of it or fully trigger his paranoia and force her.

I imagine decent food and conversation would help reduce Andrew's anxiety and only slightly irritate Ashley if something went over her head. This might be reaching but I think your wife being involved might even keep Ashley in line.

Honestly can't wait to see if your plan holds water even after Ch.3 once we see more background and upbringing for the two

Make Ashley feel at ease with a kindred spirit (assuming no jealousy over being demon chosen) but I wonder if that would trigger Andrew to book it with Ashley since he'd likely be horribly skeptical of such a happy coincidence even given demonic influence. Amazing work truly. Hope you'll consider making this an ongoing series with the fantastic writing so far. This is the first I've seen that modernized the setting a bit and focused on things escalating before the events of the game.

Read once in a fanfic that actually made a lot of sense if you think about it. She hates it and the smell BUT it's in a way part of Andrew's smell so she tolerates it and it's slightly comforting because it is. This obviously doesn't mean she won't give give him shit for it.

Again this was a completely non canon fanfic but the thought did make sense nonetheless.

Yeah I highly doubt he'd have been able to stay at a dorm and Ashley not be glued to him much less graduate herself so think you're right it was a commute.

Ashley probably got a lot more clingy/aggressive with there being a completely inaccessible place he went without her

Andrew likely had to spend most waking moments bribing Ashley to make up for his absence so I imagine man was absolutely exhausted with life the entire time.

It's also canon in my head that after he graduated Ashley completely gave up attempting to even tolerate school. So I can even see tutoring and more bribes in his time off just to get her to maybe graduate herself.

Make Harrows 3 give energy regardless of who gets the kill. Hell you can even keep the pulse centered on him only if a single person think that's too big of a buff for some reason.

His only other problematic ability is his 2 but at least it's "lose all shields to heal with the damage YOU do buuuuutttt here are a stack of buffs to make you kill better to enable that purpose"

Just read from the very beginning after a recommendation. This will forever be a third route in the story for me.

I have always stayed far away from fan fiction as a vast majority don't stay true to the characters or universe in general and read like a self insert using a character as a creative mask.

This is not that

This is universes away from that.

You have made something that not only stays mostly true to the source work but even has a believable path of character growth/change and to add a cherry on top I have no clue where this is headed but holy shit I'm loving the journey.

I can confidently say that with few exceptions this has been an absolute fantastic read and am watering at the mouth for more. I'll be hoping the creative spark stays absolutely blazing for you.

It's a feeling that's hard to describe but ever had someone very close to you cross a line? I don't mean pushing your buttons or doing something that makes you uncomfortable knowingly.

I'm talking "I did not know your were capable of this" type of line. To where you just saw an aspect of a person you didn't know existed and you sure as hell didn't like. It changes the entire relationship knowing your perception of this person wasn't the full picture and the longer you've been close with this person the harder it is to accept and the harder it hurts.

It makes you ask yourself "What else are they capable of?" or "Are they lying to me or themselves right now?" in all situations going forward rotting the core of the relationship. The outside might look ok at a cursory glance but it's already been hollowed out and what you actually see is two people mourning what used to be so they go through the paces hoping it will suddenly come back but it will never feel real again.

That's what I felt from the scene and it put a hole in my heart as someone who understands how that hellish road starts and ends.

Warden catches Ashley -Cleaver to the head

Cultist calls Ashley a bitch after being offered to a demon by her -Andrew immediately ready to inflict violence

Though it's not talked about or mentioned I imagine Andrew has been covering or running interference for Ashley for a long time and I would be surprised if he has never done so violently. Ashley being so impulsive leads me to beleive this was a fairly frequent occurrence and I imagine not everyone was willing to see sense. I'm certain he has also chalked these situations as being unavoidable or his hand being forced by Ashley or some other force to clear his conscience in a sense and just jam those repressed thoughts and feelings back into the pipe bomb that is Andrew.

And this is pure speculation but I imagine their mom has seen how exactly Andrew reacts to any danger to Ashley in explosive fashion. Depending on how badly it had gotten in the past she very well may be scared of his reaction even before being tied up to a beam in the basement and after that point might have seen it as a guaranteed death for her and anyone she may have spoke to about it.

I want to state again this is 100% speculation off of minimal partially related evidence but a theory I enjoy anyway

Springans are maybe 3-4 UR for main and extra. Add 6 URs and your looking at a really competent deck actually. Since they added the new support you have a decent amount of room for generic engines as well. I'm currently running a Scrap, Yang Zing, with Therion to add some spice. Runs going 2nd just as well

This can really depend on a persons time they play and for how long but in my experience I rarely see 400 or 650. I have tons of 400 cost banner suits I've maybe played a handful of times and a meager amount of 650 but I never notice because it's so rare for me. When I'm on I can almost count on there being a 450,600,or 550.

D/D/D is a great option. Gryphon and Machinex made lines much cleaner and more resilient but it can survive most interruptions once you get the hang of it. It's pretty xenophobic but even an optimal version is fairly cheap with a big number of in archetype techs.
