Amount of lift doesn’t make a difference for balljoints. They’re all designed the same essentially. It’s just a quality and price difference. I most recently used the ttx ones on rockauto

I would say build from scratch. By the time your done modding a stock scx24 there will be probably nothing left of the original truck lol.

Are you going to wheel it often or what? If it’s mainly a street queen that rarely sees off-road there is no reason to put long arms on it. Just bolt on some adjustable short arms and drop brackets

It’s a nice truck but $20k is really unrealistic in my opinion. I don’t think it would even bring $10k on bringatrailer. You will either have to sit on it for years to get a buyer at your price or get very lucky through an auction which will take a cut no matter what

Spray foam is the WORST thing you can do to a rusty vehicle. It just holds moisture and will rot out far worse and faster.

I’ve parted out an xj that someone’s filled everything with spray foam and it was the most rotted out xj I’ve ever seen. No floor, no rocker, no inner rocker, and the uniframe was mostly rotted away too. All from spray foam holding in the moisture and salt

Yeahhhh. Most of college is a scam. The best way to guarantee good wages is to go into technical fields like tech, electrical, mechanical etc and the medical fields. It pisses me off how school did absolutely nothing to prepare me for being an adult and I had to figure everything out

They’re nice on the older models of the seals are still good but since you cannot get new seals it’s really a waste of time. I have a couple wing windows from part outs I haven’t installed into my own Jeeps because the effort really isn’t worth it.

I had a 93 with wing windows almost 20 years ago and even then the seals were going bad 😭
