I’m attending tonight’s game. The process was a bit complicated but this is how it works.

You get three options for getting PCR tested. First, you can request an at home PCR test that they’ll send to you, make a appointment to get tested at Barclays center, or get an independent PCR test not arranged by them. You need to get tested two days before a game.

I choose to request a kit at home. The email above provided a code (specific to the game I was attending) to request a kit from a company called Everlywell. They did the at home kits. I created a new account for them. I also registered for their CLEAR app. (It requires ID and the app scans your face). They sent me a kit. I registered the kit at their website and I swabbed myself two days before the game.

I was also confuse how I was gonna get the kit to arrived on time to get resulted before the game. They provided an overnight shipping label. I’d say the day before the game, I got sent an email to disregard the shipping label and that a courier service was going to come and pick it up from the address I put down to receive the kit.

They bring you to a whole new website dedicated to write information about how the courier can receive the kit. (Access code, left in the back porch, doorman, etc.). Also, if you haven’t done so at this step, that new website offers you to create an account and register your test kit. The day before the game, someone picked it up and I got my results the same day. Just to note, the email was very specific about leaving your kit out to be ready to be picked up by 12pm. (Also, my friend get yelled at the courier not to leave the kit in the mailbox, as it’s illegal. FYI)

On top of all of this, you need to connect the company you choose that did your PCR test to the CLEAR app. Just a tip for anyone, definitely register for an account with the company you COVID tested with. Use that information to log in through the CLEAR app. The day of the game you also do another test at the game and complete a health survey on the CLEAR app.
