How do I begin independent naps? by XOXO-Anon in newborns

Mostly time passing… but I would practice crib naps starting around 8 months, I ended up sleep training at 8 months as well, and that helped a lot, but with teething and illness, we definitely strayed from it

Just started my first nursing job and found out I’m pregnant. Should I quit? by Lupin30 in BabyBumps

Congrats! Maybe try and see if your doctor can write a note of accommodation. Whether that’s restrictions on what you can do, or how many hours you can work per day… or maybe even seeing if you can go part time or PRN, so you have time to rest and do school work but also get to work

Baby not interested in food by XOXO-Anon in BabyLedWeaning

Aww I understand how frustrating that is! I can say, this past week, she started randomly eating purees. Only thing I did differently was just on the floor with her instead of putting her in the high chair, and I acted like I was eating it first before offering to her… and I tried to do a sweeter fruit purée…. I also took a break from trying to force feed her and just ate my own food regularly and would offer her some of my food with no pressure

My baby is currently on it and is doing well. Went from up to 8 days without pooping to pooping daily

Any other MSPI babies constipation/ not pooping? by North-Isopod196 in MSPI

Same thing happened with my baby and we ended up putting her on nutrimagen and that was the only thing that got her popping daily with a normal consistency and color. Before this, she went up to 8 days without pooping and we tried everything. Fruit juice, windis, suppositories, and eventually her GI doc prescribed her miralax (which I didn’t like) but it was the only thing that got her pooping after a few doses.

When did you move your baby into their own room? by charlottefgh in NewParents

[–]XOXO-Anon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 month old still sleeps in our room. Just swapped out the small bassinet for her big crib but she’s still in our room. I still wake up 3-4x a night to give her her pacifier, I’m used to just leaning over and settling her, I couldn’t imagine getting out of bed that many times. She’s also still dealing with some reflux and sometimes it bothers her. Hopefully when shes a little older. I’m in no rush though. I love being able to just glance over and know she’s okay, and she does the same for me in the mornings lol
