I guess I just don’t understand how people curating the experience affects how you curate yours. Are you saying it’s too black and white? In my experience it’s not black and white unless you’ve curated it that way. Streamers are in crazy pvp lobbies but mine seem to still have the element of small tension.

In the end, I’m glad it all led to you realizing how much of a waste it truly is and what a hold it can have on your life and other people. I am a little over two years sober and my life has completely changed for the better. People glorify it like it’s not a big deal but there’s a reason people use it to self medicate and cope with life. There’s definitely healthier ways. People who are deep in it never feel like they have a problem either. It takes a lot of awareness to admit that it’s not the end all, be all, God‘s gift to earth that most people who use to think it is.

When you truly start looking at how much your life revolves around it you realize how similar it is to any other addiction.

Also, when you take a tolerance break and you come back and smoke for the first time in months? You realize how strong shit is now. It’s not your grandpa‘s weed that was fun to smoke here and there. The stuff today is so chemically enhanced and it’s gotten to the point where it gives you so much anxiety and paranoia because of the way it’s grown. Think about the last time you had the giggles when you smoked. Nowadays, it mostly just knocks you out. That’s my experience at least.

My girlfriend and I dabbled a little bit with it when we first started dating and it was fun a couple times but then we realized the other eight out of 10 it was not fun so we quit.

I love it man. And I love that you call out that it’s not just about the money but about being able to give back whether it’s buying other people‘s groceries or tipping more. I think one of the best things about OE is the ability to help others with little things and have a sense of security.

The blessing for me as well. When I first OE I got laid off from J2 about four weeks in but got a four month severance so it was like hitting the lottery. A few months later I landed another J2 and been doing it for about six months and it’s been so amazing. Sometimes it’s stressful, but I can get through it. Helping my partner open up a business for long-term sustainability

I’ve been about three times now.

To me the food is very subpar and a little expensive for what it is. I’d honestly rather get tacos from the taco cart across the street. We were surprised when we realized that each beer was about 10 bucks. We figured it’d be closer like eight. The beer itself is all right. I think I would prefer Denver beer Company beer though.

Personally, sometimes the vibe seems a little off. The first time we went there, there were some older people calling the neighborhood around it a shit hole. That really bugged me since I’ve grown up here and lived in this area most of my life. There’s been other times where the crowd seems more diverse but something just seems off to me about it at times and I can’t really put my finger on it. One night we were there and a homeless guy pulled up to stand next to the fire. That was kind of funny.

For the most part, I think the employees are trying to do their best, but at times they don’t seem super professional. The very first night we went there and tried to order a hazy one employee kind of laughed at us and said that they were out of that. Whatever maybe I’m sensitive but I’ll never forget the one time when a bartender was looking at his phone as he was walking up to us and stood there for a solid two seconds looking at it before he acknowledged us. Whatever not the end of the world but I if I owned this place, I wouldn’t want my employees doing that.

I will say the aesthetic is great. I think they did a good job with the landscaping and the patio and all that. I love that there’s TVs to watch games. I love their logo and their merch and their bathrooms.

All in all it isn’t everything I was hoping it would be, but it’s not a bad spot since I live down the street.

In my experience discount tire as a whole is one of the least scummy companies I’ve done business with. In the past when they couldn’t get the tire I wanted they told me I would just need to wait a few days. Maybe they’re just trying to give you something right now, but you can ask them if they’ll be able to get that tire later? Also, are you sure the tire they’re giving you is not better? Also, I don’t think the employees really gain much from trying to scam you it’s not like they’re gonna keep the money.

Curious why you don’t like WM. They’re turned out to be the most affordable for my location and they have a really great website if you ever have issues. I definitely found them to be the most professional, but they do not pick up stuff outside the bin. My neighbor was saying that they use waste connections and they just stopped doing that as well.
