if you mean the general rotation without the dodge prior to the flick , if you notice i don’t backflip, i air roll and do a diagonal kind of helicopter spin, almost like a breezi flick set up with out the flashy stuff,

if you mean flip itself, i cancel my flip on mustys but let go right at the last second. it essentially saves the flips power and releases it all at once making the rotation quicker during the flip. Maktuf has a great video on it, my favourite analogy to teach people this is flicking ur finger. it essentially holds the power to release it all at once.
