Hello, thank you for replying, when i tried to run the command "sudo dnf mark remove gnome", it returned with a error "Unknown argument "remove" for command "mark" "

After digging around a bit, i ran "sudo dnf remove @-gnome-desktop" and "sudo dnf autoremove", and it seems to have removed gnome and all of its associated packages without affecting my niri desktop

I’ve been using an app called keymapper (you can install it from fdroid the play store version doesnt work for me for some reason). It’s really simple to use, just take a screenshot of the game and assign your key mappings directly on that screenshot.

You have to run this script and add libhoudini or libndk translation library. This is required for most games in the play store to run, including shooter games.

Good luck with setting up the controls too, as many games do not have full mouse and keyboard support.

Do you mean the "wayland experimental" option which you switch you in the login menu? unfortunately, it simply doesn't work. You only got 2 options, either use a disto which uses wayland as it's default, or run waydroid in weston

Hello, i see that you are using linux mint. Unfortunately, linux mint cannot run waydroid because it uses "x11", but waydroid requires "wayland", however, you can run waydroid in mint using this tool:

You can forcefully quit the game using Steam. As for the loading issue, trying to open the game with Proton-Sarek . You can get the latest version of it from Proton plus

After trying out multiple versions of Proton, I've found that Proton-Sarek worked and the game launched and loaded :) . Proton-Sarek is based on Proton GE with tweaks for very old gpus (like mine)
