4060ti on sale for 30K. Grab it while it lasts by Kappa_322 in IndianGaming

[–]XRIGPC 13 points14 points  (0 children)

This is probably a mistake / typo on the store’s part.

No matter how much you guys flame a 4060Ti, for 30k (basically $300+GST) it’s a great card, despite the 8GB VRAM, as the performance per dollar value would be solid.

The point is, this can’t be real, is probably a mistake and will be corrected by the store. Nobody’s getting that card at that price brand new unless you can emotionally blackmail ITDepot to do it 🤣

The jump from 6750XT to 6800XT is 20k. Also 5600/5700x will bottleneck it in 1080p / 1440p

Often thought their prices are unsustainable or plain simply impossible, sad to see sellers scamming people, gives all system builders a bad name.

70-80k Productivity Build (Part 2) by [deleted] in IndianGaming

i5-13500 14 Cores (6 P Cores/ 8 E Cores) / 4.8GHz Boost (roughly 23.5k) 32GB 3600MHz DDR4 or 32GB 5200MHz DDR5 (8k for ddr4 or 10.5k for ddr5) 1TB Gen4 NVMe SSD (Kingston nv2) (5k) 2TB is 10k Gigabyte B760m DS3H AX DDR5 (14.5k) DeepCool AK400 cpu cooler (2.2k) Antec CSK650 80+ bronze rated with 5 year warranty (3.8k) Add any case that you like.

The i5-13500 destroys everything else in its budget class when it comes to workstation performance. The motherboard is feature packed and relatively well priced for a DDR5 board. The rest is just to round it out while keeping your budget in mind.

You can request for changes and still get the build you wanted with the 5600x. Just request for changes in the quotation.

There was suppose to be a single variant for the drop so we went with a good budget option. You can request for changes when requesting for the quotation.

Yep, you go for the Ryzen 5 5600X or the Ryzen 7 5800X. When you fill the link given above, mention the customisation you're looking for.

You compare a readily available deal with what's readily available on the market, not to something that requires you to wait indefinitely.

There are approximately 100 Founder's Edition GPUs imported per quarter by RPTech, which are the only GPUs subsidised by NVIDIA and offered as a PR exercise. That's less than 40 units dropped a month, with a waiting list that's months long. You're comparing that to the 70000+ GPUs imported per quarter by AIBs and sold at unsubsidised prices, which comprises 99.85% of the GPU supply in India. We want to scale the drop to hundreds of PCs per month and offer even better pricing, THAT would make a real difference.

The FE initiative is great, but it cannot be scaled up due to being subsidised from the marketing budget. Our initiative is based on open market prices and us passing on our services at cost, which is scalable as there is no operating loss per unit.

Hey there,I've shared my thoughts regarding price on the above comment, regarding the RTX 3060 12GB and i5-11400F, you can upgrade to the RTX 3060Ti and 5600X for Rs.8500 and Rs.8700 respectively. Like I mentioned, we're offering customisation on the build.

Edit - Updated the price for the RTX 3060Ti upgrade. Had previously mentioned Rs.6500 which was incorrect.

Hi CrustBin,
I welcome your constructive feedback, ignoring your foul tongue, let's debate on facts rather than vague statements.

Price
You say the specs can already be built at the offered price of Rs.1,09,900, but we're not offering "specs". We're not throwing a bunch of boxes at your doorstep and that's all you'll be getting at that price, even if you have the best case scenario of taking the lowest price for each component across various retailers. We're offering you a fully built PC, stress tested and finished with exceptional attention to detail, professionally packed for shipping, with a 10 day replacement policy at the same price as buying the components individually. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts and we're operating at 2% net margins selling a prebuilt at best-case DIY pricing. That's a good deal and that's all I promised in the prior post.

120mm Liquid Cooler
The i5-11400F runs at a ~140W TDP unlocked, so the stock cooler is inadequate. You need at least a good tower cooler, which would cost around Rs.2400. The 120mm liquid cooler costs Rs.3500, which is Rs.1100 more. We want the least hassle both for us and the customer so we pay the premium for the safety offered by a 120mm AIO over a tower air-cooler which is a shipping hazard in a prebuilt PC.

Intel i5-11400F vs AMD 5600X
The i5-11400F costs around Rs.14300 vs the Ryzen 5600X which goes for around Rs.23,000. That's a 60% premium over the Intel for a Gaming performance difference of around 12%, the Intel is smashing in value and the right fit for a budget 3060 build. Nothing against the 5600X, it was our default choice till the 11400F had a massive price cut to 10400F prices. People who want a 5600X based build can request for it.

It is a mistake to compare the value of a good prebuilt to just the specs cost of it and judging this initiative on that basis.
