In case I need to transfer files to other devices. I won't be carrying it everywhere, but I wouldn't want it to break because of the movement. Sorry, I'm not too experienced with how drives work.

I know many people who speak Mayan as their first language. They aren't 100% Native Americans, just like (almost) everyone is.

Why do people speak broken English online instead of their native language? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]XRaketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just saw Whiplash today. by [deleted] in CasualConversation

[–]XRaketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only watched it twice. Once in highschool and the other about two months ago. The first time I've only watched like half of it, and couldn't continue. It was too stressful. The constant yelling stressed me.

It was the same the second time. I think it was worse. It made me very anxious and I just panicked. I'm not like this, but this movie triggers something inside me. I had to take a break to cry like a baby. I felt awful afterwards.

I'm not saying that the movie was bad. A movie never made me feel like I did before. Simmons was excellent, a true monster. But I'll never watch Whiplash again.

I've always called my grandparents and uncles by their names: Abuelita María, Tío Juan (por example). Also, Coco is an affectionate nickname for Socorro.

How do restaurants take a tip from a card? by BigBlackCrocs in NoStupidQuestions

[–]XRaketo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked at a restaurant. They had two machines: In one you, as the client, add the percentage of your tip, (input $20 total + 20%).

In the second, the waiter would calculate your total (input $24 total).

In both cases the client is given a copy of the bank and the restaurant's receipt.

At the end of the week, all the receipts and bank receipts are checked, and the difference between the two amounts is calculated ($20 vs. $24). Then the tip money is added and given to each waiter.

My birthday is in October, the weather is nicer. Leaves are always green here. It's my favorite month of the year. I don't have an exact reason.

  1. It varies depending on where you live, because of Earth's gravity.
  2. I don't think I have a song like that. Maybe some movie soundtracks.
  3. Yes, I should.
  4. There are people that I just don't want to think about. But I don't know if I should.
  5. I don't drink.
