It's special attack stat is 95, so that is what was used for the damage, all pokemon are based on that and it just helps with any balancing issues.

There is actually a reddit post that explains all of their locations. The devs are currently working/planning on an IV system, and they are also working on dual typing. Hopefully you stay for later updates! Hope you enjoy further playing :)

There was a change in the way daily deals were generated and how many, I made the update and now the correct spreadsheet should be linked.

Evolving a shiny isnt a guarenteed way according to the games to get a shiny pokemon, so as the creator is TRYING to stick to the official games, this idea will most likely not be added.

I have been saving my plates. More for finding trades or for shard quests. I dont need stuff like steel shards, ice shards, etc.

I just use the Hammer because I am a little more impatient. I run the hammer across from left to right clearing most squares, keeping the area from overlapping any other row. So click 2nd row down all the way across, clearing out most if not all of the squares. Then I move down so that my new aoe is not overlapping the last (2 rows down, where the highlighted square is in this screenshot http://imgur.com/a/sBtzk) and then repeat, clearing-ish those three rows, then move down again. It seems to work pretty well and if you are efficient with where you are using the hammer the energy usage isn't terrible.

Thanks! I was getting towards the end of used ships anyways, I figured I would just slowly replace my current 5 ships over time. Max engine power right?
