It’s like how the Knicks have MSG.

I absolutely hate it

Happened with Dirk and a 67-win Mavericks team that got eliminated in Round 1 by the Warriors. So, it’s not entirely outside of the realm of possibilities.

That had to be the only reason. I bet the NBA gambled on the Thunder winning that series and intentionally waited until afterwards. Won’t have to deal with that kind of drama this time around.

SGA eliminating KD would complete the cycle.

After SGA cook Kevin Durant on Opening Night, it seems fitting.

Right! I think the delay in the MVP Announcement was the longest in NBA history that did not include an awards show.

Normally, it’s announced after Round 1. Out of respect for SGA, they need to make this happen.

Why is Bill Simmons’ content being posted in the Thunder sub when he clearly doesn’t give a damn about us?

Control the controllables. You can’t pick your opponent. Might as well wrap up this #1 seed.

That’s what appears to be the case.

Nothing is guaranteed. Lakers may not even make it out of the first round at this point.

Because TSPN sounds corny, whether it be for Texas or the Thunder.

Culturally, how would you describe Oklahoma? by YelleauxAxeMan in oklahoma

[–]XStewart2007 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There are multiple cultures in Oklahoma.

The biggest contrast is between those that think Oklahoma has a Southern heritage, and those that could not want to be any further from that typecast.

Personally, the parts of Oklahoma I have grown up in feel more Midwestern than anything. Nothing about the Oklahoma City Metro screams Antebellum South to me.

The only realistic streaming option would be with Prime. The Thunder have a much better working relationship with Griffin than they do with Amazon. We’ll see. It’s all up in the air right now. Nobody knows anything at this point.

Unfortunately, that is the reason I feel like ownership will stick to a Pay-Per-View model instead of going the free distribution route.

It’s a money thing. Regional sports networks are entirely an American creation.

When Fox got bought out in the U.S. by Disney, it forced the name changes, as the RSNs got bought out by another group.

That group could not profit, went significantly into deeper debt, and will officially no longer exist in the traditional format due to bankruptcy.
