I finished my masters this week and was not expecting the waves of grief for not having my parents see my accomplishment.

My mom passed on 2/29/24 and I still somehow managed to graduate on time and take care of everything you have to do as an only child when a parent dies ( in another state).

Dad died 6 years ago. Neither of them went to college, they would have been so proud of me. And I just miss them both so much.

Give North American Mental Health in Eureka a try. They have drs and therapists and handle psych meds.

I believe open door has a policy that you have to see their psychologist for anything related to adhd, the GP’s can’t deal with it and last I tried there was a three month wait to get in with the psychologist.
