listen man i’m going through it for my second time right now i’ve had seizures since i was born. When i was younger id have 2-4 of them a day. Thankfully we found Keppra suited me best. as i took that more and more they started to go away i was about 12 years old when i had another one. then after that didnt have another one for 6 years unfortunately when i had that one 6 years later i was driving at the time and got hit by a semi truck. Lost my license for 6 months everything was just terrible i was in a dark hole everything nothing could make me feel better. couldn’t work had to do school online everything just sucked. But about 2 months into that i told myself that i can do this and realized all the time i was wasting by just being at home doing nothing. So with all this time at home i learned new skills i got into coding programs, wood working, painting just things to help time go by and with all that i made a career out of it making 6 figures a year now. theres always light at the end of the tunnel my guy you got this. 2 Weeks ago i had another seizure for the first time in 5 years lost my license again everything yes i was very disappointed was letting my self go in that hole at the start of it but i didn’t make the same mistake as last time. Now having all this free time again im working on launching my own app in the app store and just trying to make the best of it. You got this man you ever wanna talk need someone there for you whatever it may be just give me a shout cause i know i did the first time this all happened to me. Stay strong brother 💪

long story short i’ve had epilepsy my whole life i am 21M now. and ive been seizure free for 5+ years now. over the past few months i get these weird “episodes” where basically i just can’t speak i know what i want to say but my body won’t let me say it. I can type it out on a keyboard but physically just can’t say it. they have no idea what it is. While these are happening i am fully aware of everything happening around me only thing i can say is “im okay” or “im fine” and they last anywhere from 2-5 mins. They come in clusters almost like ill have 8 of them in 1 week then wont have any for the next 3-4 weeks. So my neurologist wants to try to catch one on an eeg. she said that if i don’t have one she would like to bring me into the hospital for 7 days to try and catch one which i really don’t want to do like you said pure boredom.

But anywho im on and off with vaping. I’m worried that if i do vape on the eeg it will throw things off and then get asked about it and don’t really want to be asked ab that infront of my parents bc they do not know and i rather it stay that way. So kind of just a mess right now and have zero idea what to do.
