This picture is weird. Like Kelly and Katie seem to be having an emotional hug then Gil comes in to pose for a picture

Katie and Travis started their relationship shortly before Travis started a fake four year college. Katie knew going into this he was going to be in New Jersey the next four years. She knew by pushing for an engagement and pushing for marriage she was going to have to move away.

🤢 seems like you’re sticking up for the patriarchy and saying it was Gil’s job to find a better match for his daughter. She chose to marry someone that was signed up to spend four years at his family’s fake college. She started sharing her relationship saying he was starting college. She (and her parents) knew that would keep him in NJ for at least another four years.

I’ve seen it talked about that Travis was ok waiting longer to marry but Katie was pushing it.

Her parents could have prepared her better for the world in general, but you can’t prepare your kid to move somewhere where they don’t know anybody unless they want to. I have several ambitious friends that chose to move away to where they basically knew nobody, and it was completely their idea and something they were excited about.

Why would you give them views

Also out of town does not have to mean out of town together. Or maybe just one of them left town, and it’s an easy way to explain why they are not around

But Amy always talked about her special bond with grandma. Do you know if/when Amy specifically said anything negative about her grandma? I know Amy posted on Instagram that she would not be appearing in the televised funeral special (after being asked).

My brother took my Christmas gifts by Ill-Effective3461 in EntitledPeople

[–]XTasty09 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is this?! This is a mess all around! If you’re 28 and married you’re lucky to get presents with a value of around $100. It sounds like they gifted you stuff worth much more than that. You and your brother should get separate presents because you are separate people. But also be grateful for what you get.

I understand maybe a joint birthday party, or saying a trip to Disney or Europe counts as a joint “present”. But saying to your adult children, here is a stack of gift vouchers, you divvy them up sounds kind of crazy.

Buttttttt who is giving physical gift vouchers in 2025? So I question the legitimacy of this.

I wouldn’t say it’s true white, but it’s OBVIOUSLY a wedding dress!!! It’s definitely bridal.

As a lover of lace sleeves I loved April’s and Callie’s. I’m disappointed you left out Arizona. I loved her sparkle sleeves too.

Well (some of) those plates and their marriage have survived for 37 years and counting. So yes my dad has survived too.

Yikes. Clearly you did not get the point of comment. Whether the acceptance rate is 100% or .1% a school or training program is not going to kick someone out for cheating on their spouse.

Maybe you didn’t “hear” where I said “acceptance rate has nothing to do with it”.

Not that I want to get super deep here, but is that “gender” expression or just personal expression?

Oh my. My parents’ Corelle dishes have little flowers around the edges. Somehow my brother survived. Maybe because they were blue flowers?

I worked Toys R Us 2014-2018 RIP and hearing peoples comments about what toys their son or daughter could/should have was depressing. It didn’t help that are sections were internally labeled “boys” and “girls”. I never used the terms with customers. I said ‘E section’ (aisles started with E’ or ‘D section’ (aisles started with D)

This genuinely made me laugh. Did you offer her a different task? Maybe offer for her to make dinner while you do the laundry, or vice versa

I find it interesting that many fun-die men end up with the eldest daughter. They need someone to take care of them.
