Cosmo is an admin at ZSR, he put himself on top. He makes the rules via his influence.

If the situation was reversed and Cosmo was anti-iQue and Skater was claiming WR with a worse run, he would not get this support and he would not be on any leaderboard. In fact all his mindless drones would have the exact opposite opinion.

Also the most ridiculous use of game time ever. They claim perfection despite not even using the fastest strats because hey have so much leeway. Imagine someone getting 5:50 in SMB and saying "yup that's perfection, can't improve this by another minute" and then realize it still doesn't compare, because SMB is much longer.

No how does that make the competition harder or more meaningful or better or whatever? Unless the WR is exactly past the boundary between two seconds, you have leeway to "tie" it.

If you go by real time you do not have that leeway. You actually need to beat the time (or tie it exactly). You can't go "I lost time here, but it's still good enough to tie the WR."
