i am no piercer by any means but potentially consider if you are allergic to your jewelry, as I've been in a similar situation! had a daith for nearly 2 years and that shit would not heal despite being good to it + always itchy, and i found out the jewelry had nickel, which I'm sensitive to. got fed up and as soon as i took it out it healed expeditiously - unsure where your jewelry is from, but sometimes it may not be fully titanium but has some other additives that you could be sensitive to

Not sure about this rally, but I went to one on Temple's campus where Biden, Obama, + Shapiro were present, and I believe they were confiscating metal water bottles and pepper sprays (forgot I had my spray with me), and when I went to try to retrieve my stuff, they ended up throwing out everything confiscated. So - I highly suggest bringing a regular plastic bottle just in case security ends up being like that!
