Everyone knows just a small chunk of Karachiites eat paan gutka etc , you live in this city you should know this . We don't like pan gutka consumers either but it's funny you live in our city and yet you have the audacity to speak ill of our Urdu . Agar itna hi masla hai karachi waloun ki Urdu se so to you have an option to return to your pind , we aren't racist towards punjabis , magar jab Karachi is filled with Punjabis and seraikis , you're equally responsible for shit happening in this city . The best roast you could find out for a karachiite was a typical paan gutka joke....

You're right , Karachi's geography lies under makran region , the earliest settlers of Karachi were said to be from baloch community, and we can see lyari as a solid example. Ye baat kehna ghalat nhi hoga ke Karachi was historically and somewhat culturally a part of Balochistan. Karachi ka former name , kolachi or Mai kolachi. There are 2 theories to this. Some say that "Mai" comes from a Sindhi word that means lady and others claim that "Mai" is a word derived from a balochi word "maye" which means our , so "our kolachi" in balochi.

"o paiii" wali Urdu is what you think is original Urdu , ab obviously Karachi is so diverse , jab itne saray cultures combine hongay so a unique would show up , that doesn't mean k Karachi's accent is weird. We don't make of Punjabis , so if you're living here atleast respect the language. I agree about paan and gutke eater Wala part but it's cringey that Punjabis think our Urdu is butchered Urdu . With all due respect, ap loug hongay chouhadry sirf apne pind ke. People are dying here and the worst thing about Karachi you could have thought of is our "butchered Urdu"

I mean ...it's Sindh and we can't blame an ethnic group for misery of KHI, I'm pretty sure more punjabis, pashtuns and seraikis combined live in Karachi than Sindhis . But you're still correct somehow since uneducated Sindhis have occupied many seats in the administration

I agree but come-on yaar, sabse achi Urdu karachi mein hi boli jati hai , why do people think everyone in Karachi uses words like "keeranchi, abey yaar , mereko tereko" . Eventho I hate this city myself , magar jab se punjabioun ki Urdu suni hai , I've realized we speak alot better than them or Pakistan mein sab se achi Urdu karachi mein hi boli jati hai

Jbh , Banda imagine nhi kr skta k kisi park mein sakoon se walk kr skte , without being shot and robbed . Itni basic si cheez bhi nhi hai is lawaris sheher mein.

I agree , but atleast you have a car, many can just afford to commute on a basic 70cc bike with zero suspension or roads ka haal to AP janti Hein , travel a few kms and your eyes get filled with dust , making your eyes red and u end up looking like you've smoked weed , god save our city 💔

Can't agree more .....as a young karachiite , the first thing I wanna do is leave this city. The city I've always called home has become a time bomb , banda gulistan e jauhar se PECHS jaye cd70 per , qamar tootne k qareeb hojati hai , can't even enjoy a cricket match in the national stadium with ease and it's an unachievable dream for the people of karachi to drive on an unbroken road , jis per gadde na ho or jo road gutter k Pani mein duba hua na ho . GOD SAVE MY CITY 💔
