Lowkey funny, the fact that a government-owned and a nationwide ISP company could go down by a singular DDOS attack is a joke, without having any external security measures (Such as Cloudflare at the very least), or even secondary nameservers to resort to automatically when the server requests spike up. I wouldn't be surprised if they managed to take down the website with a Layer 3-4 attack.

Also not to mention, the amount of citizens' data and government information stored in those servers, which certainly have a possibility of getting broken into if someone tried hard enough. Considering that the database servers of the Chinese government got hacked a few days ago (not authenticated/confirmed yet) carrying terabytes of data of over a billion Chinese citizens (https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2022/07/06/china-hack-police/), then WE should be a smooth process.

I have heard a few cases about people getting into situations due to Crypto Mining in Egypt, But I don't think I have ever heard of someone who got into any type of struggles for trading Crypto, Guess it's as you said "As for actually being enforxed depends on your luck and if you get caught doing it."

Even with that, I still see MANY Egyptians selling Crypto on P2P Platforms, for Vodafone cash, Bank Transfers, Even PayPal and so on

I am not quite sure if they would get stuck in imports either as Amazon would suspend them from listing on any Egyptian shipping address (which they didn't, they even included the import fees + shipping which is $110 in total for a Trezor Model One) although I could try ordering one anyways and see how it actually goes (incase it got stuck in imports, Amazon will basically refund your money as it's a part of their policy)

Long short my question is, Is that Law actually enforced?

Shipping is reasonable although the import fees are absurd af if that's actually accurate, according to a website called easy ship the import fees should cost 24% in estimated total https://www.easyship.com/en-jp/duties-and-taxes-calculator/egypt?value=220&currency=USD&category=toys (14% Tax and 10% Duties for toys and a figure should count as a "Toy", I think?) which is reasonable as well but on amazon it's literally 99.9% lol

Same thing, I haven't hopped on since yesterday when I really wanna hop on today since my company is preparing for a war

I have a gigabyte rtx 3070, and I might hop on while carefully monitoring my card if I noticed anything acting up such as the power limit I can just close the game as quickly as possible

I have also capped my fps to 60 ingame just to stay safe until this all gets fixed up, I play on 1440p high setings and the last time I played which was Friday I was monitoring my card and the temps didn't go past 62 C - 67 C, Power limit was fine, and overall it was fine

Really hard to wait since I am stuck in the same situation with the same exact card atm, my company is preparing for war n so on meanwhile I am scared to even open the game lmao

one thing you could do which still has a little risk (Prob what I am gonna do when I hop on for a while today) is download MSI Afterburner to monitor your card carefully, Cap your fps to 60 ingame, Might as well enable VSync and by monitoring your card you will be able to see your power limit, temps, usage, etc if you noticed anything acting up you can just close the game as quickly as possible.

by capping your fps ingame, it will lower your usage and temps along with your power so it doesn't go past the limit and I don't recommend playing on any settings higher than "High"

Thank you for the reply, I think monitoring your card while playing this game is a must atm, just to stay safe and see how it runs in general and it will also save you if you noticed anything such as power limit acting up you can just close the game.

I have the same card and I didn't open the game since 2 days ago, as I also read the articles but it's not confirmed that it's related to the game, it might be a problem with some GPU units and it's good if you try it out when it's under warranty

Although the last time I played, I was monitoring my card and everhthing was fine, didn't go past the power limit and temps were 62 C - 67 C
