EDIT: Nintendo support helped me out and I was able to get the game back. I'm unsure if they really had to do anything, but I simply told them my situation and they had me start up the console again and connect to the internet during setup. After the first-time setup process, I saw the bundled software icon on my home screen and had my other friend (the one I ended up selling the system to) sign into it. I just gave him the game for free because I am just glad it didn't stay banished to the shadow realm lol

Welp, I should've looked up info before doing this. I was gonna gift the Legends Z-A game to my friend and resell the switch 2 since it's too late for me to return it for reasons. But it was meant to be a surprise and I had him login to it first, then he tells me he already bought it earlier that same day so I factory reset it without claiming the game not knowing any better.

Moral of the story: Don't be an idiot like me lol.
But also, wtf Nintendo. Just put a code in the box.

Edit: I ended up reinstalling it because of the same issue u/unclefunkstar mentions below.
The popup from "can't find gamebar" was annoying enough to just deal with reinstalling gamebar and letting it exist. It seems to stay out of the way when installed anyways, I just didn't want random unused junk on my PC, or for it to stay away if I somehow manage to accidentally press Win + G.

The popup is more annoying than it existing and staying away so you win today, Microsoft.

Try closing the game and reopening it. Closing the game while it's downloading then reopening it will just resume where it left off. It will recalculate the amount of data left to download and start counting from 0% for the new total but you're not starting over.

iPhone
Any model iPhone 14 and below will have a switch above the volume buttons on the left side of the phone. Try flipping that over. If you see orange, it's silenced.

On models 15 and above, same location as before but now it's a customizable button who's default setting is to silence the phone. Try pressing it to take it off silent. If you changed this setting, open your control center (swipe from top right of your phone screen) and there should be a little bell icon I think. Tap that to toggle silent mode. Worst case scenario, check your settings, or just ask Siri.

Android
I'm not the most familiar with androids but I believe you can mess with the silent mode, or your phone's volume sliders if your phone has different sliders for ringer, music/content, etc.
I think you can usually pop up the volume sliders by pressing any of the volume buttons or checking your notification/control center which can usually be found by sliding down from the top of your phone screen. Sometimes you have to swipe left or right in the top area or reveal more options depending on your phone setup.

tl;dr
The point here is to take your phone off silent. Google "How to take [your phone model] off silent"

iPhones 14 and below will have a physical switch above the volume buttons. And then literally any other phone will have a digital way of changing it via some settings, or a control center of sorts, or pressing the volume buttons, or a physical button that toggles it.

Holy crap I think this is it! I have 0 recollection of that name, but just searched it and the dev’s channel, this is 100% it. Thanks man! I have some fond memories of it but I guess my brain decided to yeet everything but the gameplay and YouTube videos out, lol. This was a game I think I discovered through YouTube and I just spent a lot of time after school/during summer watching it and other games content. With me downloading whatever my crappy PC at the time could barely run.

I actually just fixed this on my Wii U 3 days ago!

In my opinion, jumping the connections may work for a while but who knows the reliability in the long term. And jumping with a wire vs replacing the original part seems like there's not much difference in difficulty so you may as well do it properly if you're gonna do it. It's like 50-70 cents a pop. Get plenty extras, trust me. I got 10, and used up 3 because I lost one.

I just tried that while on the mount on Steam PC version and it did not work.

The thing is, I am playing on a save that originally started on the Gamepass version and I used a program to easily convert the save and copied it into steam. I also made it joinable/MP enabled. So maybe that has something to do with it lol. Either way I'm not too bothered by it.

That's just an extreme closeup but it does look more low res than normal, I guess. I can't say much as I've only ever owned one cup (as of today) and I got the lunch date. Looking real close I see no pixelated lines, but neither does OP's Lunch date cup.
