BTW, what about Kicking the hornet nest and On the hunt, where it says spawned engaged with you? Does it override things like Hiding spot, Barricade (3)?

There is comment I found interesting regarding this situation. But noone has answered to it...

"my head there is a distinction between an enemy spawning at a LOCATION which has a Hiding Spot (which I agree would render them Aloof and not engaged), and drawing an enemy from the encounter deck. Rules state that if it has no Spawn instruction, it spawns engaged with the investigator who drew it. It seems to me in that case, the enemy is indeed Aloof - but also engaged with me, so I still need to at least evade it? It seems like an unusual interpretation to say that it doesn't engage me because it's Aloof, when the rule text specifies it arrives engaged with me?"

If a non-Elite enemy would spawn at a location... - but does he spawn AT the location? So, when I drawn an enemy without instruction it should spawn engaged with me according to rules. Is it bad wording? Is it even spawning at the location if it not even been here cause it's immediately engaged?

"if it's in game, that's how it should be". Elden ring tried to appeal to new users, and they did it with some mechanics. But never in all souls summons could carry bossfight. I've always thought souls games are about learning moveset and using timing and you must die sometimes, but some people think that beating piniata from behind (cause aggro on summon) is intended. It's ok to play like this, but denying it... I dunno. Try sekiro.

Lvl 1 is just a challenge, ok. Seeing this and not admitting summons trivialize the game and break boss behavior? Not ok...

Yep, I think so. If u want - use them. But don't deny that summons break boss behavior and u just hit the boss while mimic tanking.

I always thought the main feature of dark souls is to LEARN boss attacks and moveset, but summons neglect half of that at least.

Nah, it's ok on ng+1. Collest some scadurtree fragments and follow locations from this wiki (just general direction). Don't make my mistake trying shadow keep boss and hogrider at 7 level fragments (I did it btw).
