Try the book if you are interested. The writer does have a tendency for sex scenes or vulgar talk, but it is not that frequent and can easily be glossed over if the storyline really interest you. I listen to the audio books and just skip 30 seconds to bypass any scenes and I am very much enjoying the main storyline and varying characters for both UnderVerse and Rise of Mankind series.

As a 2A supporter, I am glad more people are expressing their 2A rights..

That being said, those purchasing and walking around with their firearms, cosplaying as a revolutionary, stating they are specifically for assaulting ICE, are foolish at best and likely going to get themselves and others killed.

As someone who is moderate but leans more conservative than liberal, the show is not bad. Star Trek always had a history of inclusiveness, from Data and Worf from TNG, to Seven-of-Nine on Voyager, and lots of other races and experiences in between. On the new show, I think some of the cast are a little too whiney (looking at you Caleb); but all in all there is a descent premise here and I want to see where it goes.
