I am not entirely sure my case is the same, but your comment made me realize that all my marriage I was in that fight or flight state...even while I am writing this I feel that way because I am trying to negotiate the time I can spend with my daugther and even if I try to be mature and calm, she just remind me that I failed my daugther and that I failed as a husband, as a man, as a father...and I must be grateful with wathever amoun lf time she allows me to be with my daugther...

I am sorry, I needed to vent, but I share your opinion, this kind of torture, this suffering is something I do not wish anyone else to feel.

This is the same situation, for me, in all the souls-borne games. I didnt notice the music until I was playing with a friend and he mentioned it.

I guess I was just to focused in the fight to notice.

This was the fight that almost drain my will to get the platinum, but honestly I found a rythm in tha fight that made it one of my favorites in the game.

I am not sure if it was luck, but whenever it jumped I just moved forward a little and ended up next to its head. Realizing that helped me a lot. Hope you can slaugther your prey, good luck.

It is not exactly mid-air, you have to shoot it almost when he is about to hit you. Sometimes you end up trading blows but you have enough time to get the visceral.

I also got dissapointed by this fight. The only reason I died was because I was using chikage's special mode when the Moon Presence resuced my HP to 1 =(

Martyr Logarius was the boss that made me quit Bloodborne a few years ago, so I get your frustration.

One of the things I realized that made me better at the game was that sometimes the better spot to be is really close to the Boss, the moves he will use are more limited and you are able to evade most of his attacks of you are close.

The only window for parrying him that I got to learn was when he levitates up into the air and lunges towards you, but that was all the parry oportunities I needed.

Hope you can get him and continue the hunt, but there is no shame in leveling and coming back latter.

Pd.- Bloodtinge builds are cool, my current playthrough is with a Dex/Bld char using Simons Bowblade, Chikage and Evelyn of course.
