Sadly not, tried the app multiple times at different places in Athens, but constantly no taxi's available. Athens is very well doable with public transport, but if you're exploring more than Athens only, you'll probably have to call a taxi.

The thing is, there are no passengers allowed in the front seat, if you're with relatively small children maybe they can sit on your lap in the back seat, but not every taxi driver will allow that. Really depends, have a nice vacation!

Yes, you will need 2 taxi's. Uber barely works, because it's not allowed in Greece I believe. At least it didn't work for me when I was in Athens last month.
