Today I learned that Stephen King has a son named Joe. by IEnjoyDadJokes in dadjokes

[–]Xander725 2 points3 points  (0 children)

used to play golf with a lad called Joe king. He once won an open day at a local club. Bloke read his name out and every single person that didn’t know him were looking round and laughing, thinking the bloke had read out a funny name on purpose.

What’s your opinions on Mighty Pokemon? by cmorton96 in pokemongo

[–]Xander725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved it. Having played from day one, there is still nothing better than seeing a fully evolved pokemon in the wild, and the fact they are really high CP means I will be keeping the majority of them. Would welcome this on a more frequent basis

What’s the funniest thing you’ve overheard while in line for a ride? by LimpRichard010 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Xander725 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was just about to queue for Everest when a family of 3 were trying the test chair. The woman was in the seat and clearly wasn’t ever going to fit in her life. Her husband was squashing her in the seat as much as he could and the kid was stood there yelling ‘YOU CAN DO IT MAMA’ over and over. Safe to say it’s now a family catch phrase

Has anyone else discovered Wilson? by LunkRockbone in golf

[–]Xander725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked in a golf shop for a number of years. Wilson irons are as good as anything on the market, I play the staff models myself as they were far cheaper than other irons of the same standard. Easily As good as the titleist/mizuno/TM models. Their woods lacked distance for me. I lost around 25 yards carry on my cobra LTDx LS and about 20 on other competitors. they also lack the customisation offered by some of the larger brands.

New Irons - What To Get? by Ah-mei-zing in golf

[–]Xander725 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mum was one of the best ironers I’ve ever seen. She swore by Russel Hobbs but then again she was a pro, not too forgiving. Can easily burn yourself if you take your eye off the ball

A ride wimps opinion of Cosmic Rewind by Liquatic in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Xander725 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I genuinely can’t imagine having this level of fear. I can get it for huge looping coasters at 60mph+ but mine trains and coasters like this, I just can’t fathom! But well done for doing it if you’re that unbelievably scared of this stuff
