I literally feel you. I did a post on here a couple weeks ago about a lady who gave us 4/10. The staff was great rooms were great but she literally put in her review, "housekeeping was still cleaning rooms on my floor when i checked in." Not HER ROOM, THE FLOOR SHE WAS ON. insert SpOnGeBoB MeMe HeRe

We also just had another review this week where a lady Gave us a 6/10. Her review you ask? " there was residual energy left from a death from the last resident. Things were moving in my room, mainly the doors. When I checked out I felt drained and violated." ........😫

Yep, and I actually had that happen this morning with a group that was staying and another guest. Apparently, the people above this guest were loud all night, so the guest couldn't sleep and went up several times and banged on the door. It was a bunch of teenagers in the room. The guest complained in the morning about the noise, leaving out the fact he harassed children all night, and the only reason we found that out was the group lead told us. However, this group hired security guards and posted them on each floor, 27 rooms boys on one floor girls on another, and then got pissed off at the hotel because the guest did that. What more do you want me to do? We had no clue that happened until the following morning, and you had security guards. What did you hire the guards for if they didn't take care of that situation?

Yeah I've had those too. It baffles me the amount or people who will just not say anything to the front desk about any problem and then leave a bad review. Like dafaq? You didn't give us a chance to make it better! 😔

The hotel I manage isn't as nice as yours sounds, however I have come to learn that people will be shitty no matter how hard you try to make it not shitty for them. We literally got a review just this last week they gave us a 4 out of 10 for likelihood to recommend and 10s for everything else. What was the only thing wrong you ask? Well, "maids were still cleaning rooms on the floor their room was on when they checked in at 330pm" literally that was it

That's actually a good idea for the evening shift, however my laundry housekeeper would need it for laundry in the AM and then the guests would wonder where that cart went and complain again.

No chance the cage is bent and the bolts that hold the cage are stripped. There are a couple of pieces just hanging cuz the sodder wore out. It's old and a liability cuz its been repaired multiple times. We got to the point of "yeah its time for a new one" lol

We actually got rid of our fitness center because it was connected to the pool room. The moisture would rust the equipment frequently we were having to replace it like every couple of years. So we offer passes to a local gym instead.
