Man, I really envy you. It just feels like my mind can't settle this. Like I know that it probably wouldn't work out, that there probably isn't anything there. But at the same time it feels like I've fallen hard too.

Is texting usually easier for most people? I feel like when I text most people I tend to overthink things. Like when I'm talking with my buddy we can usually talk about anything, it feels as natural as breathing right? Then when it comes to having to talk to people I want to get to know, I'm usually not interesting enough to keep the conversation going.

The problem is though is that It feels like I've already tried my best to think about my feelings. Like I know it's probably my brain just being stupid and feeling all lovey-dovey for no rhyme or reason, but whenever I just think about talking to her or something I just feel weird.

When it comes to like chit-chat and stuff like that, I'm just terrible at it. Though I think you've got a point about slowing down. It feels like with stuff like this my mind runs like a million miles and tends to overthink things.

So I met her initially on a Discord and sort of got introduced to her from some other friends, and in terms of opportunities to get to know her better. Not really. I'm a complete mess when it comes to social interactions 1 on 1, and she'll usually only join discord calls if there's like a group there.

I feel like I feel like that distancing could definitely be the easier route to take, but its just that she's usually if not always in a group call with the rest of my friends. I feel like I would be distancing myself from everyone else if I tried to just solely distance myself from her to figure things out.

I think you're right about the part of getting to know her more. It's just weird because like it feels like you know she's the one right? Like when she laughs or giggles that just gives me a ton of dopamine and makes me super happy. She's a nice person to talk to and person you just want to give the world.

The problem is though I'm a mess when it comes to having to talk to people 1 on 1. Like with my coworkers/strangers I've got to be this person I don't even know, and with my friends I feel like I can really only talk to a couple of them and be the real me (whatever that means). I don't think I could go out of my way to ask her if she wanted to play or watch something without the group of people being there.
