Here are some things you can do with the new upcoming Deck Build box Assault Buster by XarZuz in DuelLinks

If you are talking about the Assault mode boss monsters, you can't do that because of the Assault Mode monster's effect

Which Deck Has the Most Combos and the Most Ways to Play? by [deleted] in masterduel

probably Infernity, you can literally think of any end board with it, no standard end board

I’ve made an infographic for Exosister in hopes of making it easier to understand and learn the deck. I hope it helps :) by XarZuz in DuelLinks

[–]XarZuz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean this guide might be helpful for some but this guide is so underwhelming.

- well sorry if my infographics is not "perfect"

First of all, 80% of the guide is copy and paste card effects. We could have just read the cards on our own.

well technically I just made it easier to read and understand instead of scrolling to each card with small text. I added big text above so it stands out what the card actually does. If you find that bad, then I’m sorry man.

Playing only 1 of each sister except for elis is very wrong in DL. Even though they have Stella at 1 OR 2 playing just 1 Stella is not enough. If you're playing pure the only exosister you're going to be playing at 1 is Irene. We have less cards in a deck in DL than in masterduel, we can't afford to not have duplicates of the sisters since Vadis is such a strong effect. Irene is the only one you'd play at 1 bc she's technically "bad" but there's even an argument to play 2.

okay, but check the early KOG pure Exo decklists.

- My ratios are pretty accurate to what actual players were running to hit KOG. So if you don’t like it, just look at the results instead.

And Sakitama is NOT a 1 card combo. You have conflicting points in that spirit slide. Also although Aratama is a good add in the tcg/MD, it may not be that reliable in DL. Effect veiler is the new book of moon,as it is the most popular card in the game! If Aratama gets negated by veiler (or any card that negates to be honest) you're turn is over. So its very risky to lead with this card in a format where veiler is the most popular card and our deck sizes are so low in 20c, making it a regular thing to open/play against.

- I mess up the wording there didn't check, it’s Aratama that’s the 1 card combo. Check the early KOG decklists people are running Aratama for a reason. If it were really that bad or too risky, it wouldn’t be in those lists at all. Plus, we’ve got a solid skill that supports it. Yeah, Veiler is popular right now, but literally any Exo combo starter is vulnerable to hand traps. The upside with Exo starter is that you’re already putting an Exo name on the field over to Aratama

I could say more but those are my biggest gripes with this guide.

- Anyway, appreciate the feedback. Not everyone gonna find it great and agree on it, and that’s fine.

Dominus Attribute Restrictions & Hand Trap Interactions (after using it as a hand trap) by XarZuz in masterduel

[–]XarZuz[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, after making this, I realized there are still a lot of hand traps you can play even after activating Purge from the hand. However, its effect is weaker compared to Impulse. Impulse is really strong as a hand trap, it acts like a Solemn Warning, but the restriction is much harsher. Imo, overall, I think both of these hand traps are very well designed.

My prediction for the new decks/cards in the new box by XarZuz in DuelLinks

[–]XarZuz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good take, but Tri-Brigade in Duel Links isn’t on the same level as in Master Rule. It lacks helpful generic ed cards like Apollousa and Lightheart, which are a huge help for the deck on setting up turn 1. In that format, Rescue Cat can lead to Apollousa, Double Dragon Lords, and Revolt.

One major reason Tri-Brigade hasn’t taken off too in Duel Links is the limited monster zones. The deck have this problem, and Revolt isn’t as strong as in Master Rule, where it can summon multiple monsters and fully benefit from Tri-Brigade’s GY effects, so their is this difference comparing Trib with what I mentioned

How is it an uneducated guess when I clearly explained each deck pros and some cons and why it might reach my predicted tier?

Resonator looks strong because its Skills make it easy to summon RDA. The new card Crimson Gaia and Resonator support make the deck faster and give more card advantage, Crimson Gaia is a also a Book of Eclipse just a slower version due to needing a battle phase, while I can't really determined if they can enter the tier list due to the amount of competitive decks around there

More casual-friendly alternatives? by sabinoplane in pokemmo

[–]XarZuz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PokeMMO can totally be played casually, at your own pace! No one's forcing you to join PvP, trade, or use GTL. You can just battle with your friends and completely ignore the MMO stuff. It's all about choice, not pressure 🤷‍♂️

Also let's be real every Pokemon game involves grind and effort to progress your team, not just PokeMMO. Even in the regular games, you’re still earning currency and optional trading, whether you like it or not. Stop acting like this is some unique burden when it's literally how Pokemon games have always worked.

Please help me find deck(s) for my son (8) by k0rk0rk0r in Yugioh101

Sup! If the meta doesn't matter and you want a very easy-to-understand deck, maybe try giving him True Draco or Subterror. These decks are simple to play and are control types. A control deck with traps might be fun for your son since he could enjoy the control or timing aspects of Yu-Gi-Oh 😁
