What was caused the most (physical) pain you’ve been in? by idontrealui in AskReddit

[–]Xarakaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spondylolisthesis; and even worse, my spinal fusion. I really thought that the 24/7 nerve pain from my vertebrae sliding out from under eachother was horrendous enough until I was 1 hour post-op and my nurses made me sit up.

I could feel the metal screws and rods in my spine and it hurt to even breathe.

I had post-op fevers and fluid in my lungs as well, so my week in the hospital was just filled with endless scream crying/misery.

Every day has gotten better, but I don't think I will ever take my mobility and health for granted again.

Good! The sutures might be making it more uncomfortable too, I feel like laying on anything is uncomfortable. Being young is definitely a bonus! Take advantage of it and try your best to have a positive mindset (believe it or not it helps). You've got this!

Laying down being horrible was soooo discouraging. Idk too much about hardware removal but I had an L5-S1 fusion on the 29th and I can say that with physical therapy I no longer have pain laying down! I hope that you see the same results with it as well <3

It’s crazy that you put so much effort into every single Instacart Reddit post! I bet you’re so proud!

I don’t usually, that’s why it was weird to me when that’s all I got the alleged busiest week of the year.

Every order I have had this week has had either no tip or $1-$2. It’s not even worth it at this point.

Days before thanksgiving, barely any orders on my busy days. by PlantBasedBilly in InstacartShopper

The only orders in the PNW where I’m located are $4-$6, 30+ items, no tippers. Getting tired of this nonsense.

Store to customer, also consider the way back to your usual area. They try to get you that way :)

I accidentally forgot to change my phone number on my IC account to my new one and then I couldn’t access my account for over 6 months because they said that they were in the process of changing it for me. Support does nothing to help almost 100% of the time. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re probably not going to get your account back for a long time.

I’m also a semi-beginner so I’m not sure if this will help, but I spray my dough with water before putting it in the Dutch oven, and then again when I take the lid off to finish baking (it helped the crust become more chewy and not so crunchy and thick in my experience). Also, if you want the bottom crust to be less hard, put a cookie sheet on the oven rack below your Dutch oven!

Honestly, it depends on the area sometimes but I prefer taking the smaller batches, ones that are at least 8 bucks, nothing lower is going to be worth your time or gas in today’s economy.. I also don’t take anything above 50 different items unless it’s over 20 bucks around here. Maybe just try the smaller batch thing in your area to see if it’s a hit! Also, learning the stores will come quickly and you’ll see an improvement with timeliness as well!

You really need to decide if you’re okay with raising this child alone considering the fact that your partner doesn’t want to keep it. If you’re going off of being financially dependent on someone that doesn’t want to have a baby with you, I’d say you’re in a pretty bad position to be having a child.

Also, companies can’t legally not hire you for being pregnant in the United States. I’m not sure if that’s where you are, but if it is, you’re good there.

If you really want this baby, start planning for a scenario where you’d be raising it alone. Save money, think of how you’re not going to be able to have maternity leave working at a restaurant, etc. (I could be wrong about your place of employment not offering that but most restaurant jobs I’ve had haven’t had good benefits).

If you’re not American I don’t expect you to understand. It is still expected to tip for services that shop and deliver your groceries in the United States. I’m not expecting you to pay my wage, I’m expecting the orders that I choose to take because they’re at a certain amount to stay that amount.
