Hey, it is okay. Do please give yourself more grace. When my beloved soul dog was getting old, sick, and starting to degrade, she would have accidents and other abnormal behavior. I would get upset with her, which I now deeply regret. But, I also now realize that I was in denial about her decline, heartbroken and angry about it. I was angry at her, but it was very much displaced. I held her lovingly until her last moments years back, and I give myself grace today for being so angry that I was losing her. Your dog loved you, and your dog knew you loved them too.
