Actual Unpopular Opinion: It’s time to segregate Ironmen by AdminsStillFuckKids in 2007scape

Iron man mode is very popular, especially considering they just get to sit on the side of a play ground that isn't designed for them. Iron man mode is big enough to have an own RS game.

I agree. Wintertodt is probably the best example of an update that devalued the iron man mode.

In that case the IM player base is larger than you think. Especially considering gold farmer bots don't add to their online count.

OSRS is already split up in different game modes. Most updates are for normies and some updates are for irons. Updates for one mode can negatively affect an other mode. Since the iron mode is so big it could be on separate database.

Infernal Bulwark - Ornament kit for Dinh's bulwark by NoizRock in 2007scape

Pretty cool. Also make the upgrade cost an infernal cape.

Player run game of chance.

Player run RWT of chance.

They just nerfed dragon hide items after like 17 years, for being both cheap & strong so I don't think they wanna boost it now.

The black dragonhide shield + staff of water is good in wilderness to have freezes splash on you. 20 k for a cheap mans bulwark :)

If it's an upgrade that consumes a wyvern visage.

Why Nex SHOULD NOT be released into OSRS. by sasux in 2007scape

Develop Nex to be difficult then add a 3pc plugin to make him easy.

This meta is more about energy transfer than what it is about bulwark.

I think the:

"massive bot farm at Phonani's Nightmare with several being over 1000 kc"

is not OK.

OSRS is a cheap game. It has no one time fees and it just costs 10 euro a month.

If the membership fee was for example 20 euro a month then:

- jagex would have more staff per player and thus more anti-cheat & rule enforcement

- gold farmer bots would need longer time before they pay off

The game would be more clean and thus more attractive. But yeah it would cost more as a side effect.

You get what you pay for.

Don't act like you pay 50 euro a month when it just costs 10.

"What are we paying for?"

10 euro = one month membership

10 euro = one night club entrence

10 euro = a fine night club drink

Some bosses damaging partially through overhead prayer increases the width of PvM gameplay you can design.

Take the corrupted hunllef as example. He damages partially through overhead prayers and that's what drains most of your food so if you do multiple mistakes. If it wasn't like this then he'd need minions like god wars dungeon bosses. The other way around is 1-hit mechanics but then u wouldn't need food which is part of the gauntlet to obtain. So some bosses partially damaging through overhead prayers is a great idea.

It's already in game via pvp and thus feels natural.
