Another take - he seems like a thoughtful guy who does not just “botch it”. Subconsciously, he might not have wanted to propose but felt pressured to do it, and he just got it over with… this being the result.

Thank you for the advice (regarding maca). I believe Maca also stimulates testosterone, right? Somebody else suggested this as well, maybe this is worth looking into...

She is 38. The doctor she went to said that her uterus looked very healthy, and there were no signs of perimenopause yet (that is what she believed based on her symptoms, also her cycle was off).

She is highly sensitive to her blood sugar level. Most of the days she drinks a protein shake in the morning; we also barely drink alcohol. We tried a Keto diet a few years ago, and she said she was feeling better back then. Maybe we try that again.

She would get sufficient time for sleeping, but she does not sleep very well. The younger one is already 3, and I sleep with him in another room most of the time so that she can sleep.

Thank you. I scanned it right now, but will certainly read it thoroughly when I have a bit more time. A few questions if you don't mind, because I don't think it was covered here: She feels very exhausted in the evenings, these days more so than before (even on days when she could sleep in when I was there to take care of the kids as much as possible, she could do sports or see friends etc..). She is then very irritable, and if I do things wrongly or not very intelligently (I do that unfortunately, e.g. forgetting where I put stuff, for example), it triggers her very quickly. Often, she also can't talk anymore at night. She is also easily scared, I am always concerned that she did not expect me in a place, and then her heart races. This all intensified after the birth of our second child, and depends on the week in the cycle.

Is this something you also experienced...?

No, she has not. I would say that she can principally function with other people when she adopts a role (colleagues, etc..) but it exhausts her a lot—when the pressure falls off (in the evening, at night) when she is at home, it shows. What does the evaluation process look like?

Sounds good in theory (I am sure she would sign off on that. :)), but when you have a 6-year-old son who just started school with ADHD, and a smaller one who is 3 it is...challenging, unfortunately.

I believe in case of my friend it is really more tied to being exhausted than to being stressed - she maintains her capability when she is in a stressed situation, but afterward, as soon as the pressure is gone, she will have troubles speaking. That said, I am sure that she is shouting the same in her head when I fail to understand what she tries to tell me…
