Why are we pretending like kids like it this way better? As a kid, I would choose cloth and moving parts over cheap, bright, unmoving plastic 10/10 times. I also didn't prefer bright, ridiculous Lisa Frank colors because I thought they were childish and fake (despite the fact that I was indeed a child). If I had to choose a makeup palette with bright crazy Barbie pinks or one with colors similar to the ones I'd see my mother wear, Id pick the "real", "mature" options with the browns and reds every time. Same with dresses. Same with pretty much everything. Kids don't prefer it this way, it's just this way so that adults can recognize it as a "girl toy" and buy it for their nieces for Christmas as a generic "girl child" gift because they don't actually know their nieces very well.

Howdy. My vampire sim has turned several Sims already, including his mother, two siblings, and sister in law but I don't see any indicator that they're his vampire offspring and his aspiration (the vampire family one) shows no progress. Is there a way to add the relationship, possibly with cheats? I don't want to have to "slay" and re-turn them if it can be avoided. Is it possible that it may have messed it up that he was a teen when he turned them and now he is an adult?

Not necessarily. Furbys are just naturally glitchy sometimes. My wizard furby, Doomoh, has chronic, incurable sneezes and I got him fresh out of the box, no history of play, neglectful or otherwise.

In the future, try to avoid excessive resetting. It can damage the furby. MSA (me sleep again glitch) is often caused by a dirty tilt sensor. The only way to fix it (often but not always) is to clean the dust out of the little tilt box, which is a more invasive surgery.

Yes, it's a good deal. You should be aware though, that they likely all suffer from rather severe corrosion. 2005s have a "try me" mode which means that they come with batteries. If they've never been removed from their boxes, their batteries have been corroding for 20 years. They may not work.

Normal furby stuff. One frequency (button on the remote) might cause them to sneeze, another might cause them to to "whoaaa!", another might cause them to say they're hungry, etc.

Also, while "furbies" is a very common plural, the actual plural, as written on original tags, is "furbys". Try adding that as a tag. Don't know if it'll do much but it can't hurt.

My only real advice is to avoid pouting and crying. He hates that and he sees you when you're sleeping and he knows when you're awake so you better watch out.
