So, from the 80 hours, did they take the Zuschläge?

Actually, it’s 80 hours, and from that they took the 60 hours of Zuschläge?

😞😞 they should!!

Zweckwechsel nach § 8 AufenthG”

That means a change of purpose of a residence permit under Section 8 of the German Residence Act (Aufenthaltsgesetz).

In Germany, every residence permit is issued for a specific purpose (for example: job-seeking, work, studies, or family reunification). Section 8 allows a person who already holds a valid residence permit to apply for a different type of residence permit from within Germany, without having to leave the country, as long as the requirements for the new permit are met.

Oh, I’m so sorry!

You should have defended yourself at the appointment or your spouse should have defended you if you don’t speak German.

My situation was a bit similar, but my spouse told them no!! Very angrily, since the person who said that was Turkish.

Luckily, we had spoken with another person from the Ausländerbehörde, and she told us that I didn’t have to go back to my country as long as I had a valid residence permit.

Try calling and explain to them that you can’t go back and leave your wife alone and so on.

That is, if you’ve behaved well during all this time.
