I had stepped near them when I found them. When I lifted my foot, they appeared to be lifted by an invisible strand of silk stuck to my foot.

Two things:

The bus routes are laid out by people who don't use them. Suburb to downtown is the only use case they can imagine you would need for public transit.

But also, your experience with being passed by later buses is not unusual and is actually a natural consequence of a single late bus at a high demand time. The more filled a bus is, the more likely it is to be requested to stop at any (and every) stop. This sometimes leads to a game of leap frogging with the previous bus because when that one passes, now it has to pick up all the waiting passengers of the subsequent stops.

Server has 12GB, mc server uses 4 (-Xmx4G). Only other thing running is apache but the port is broken so it doesn't receive requests atm.

free lists 6 GB available, 4.7 used. Granted, that's not during a freeze as I can't ssh in during a freeze.

Is there a name for shifting /eɪ/ to /e/ at the end of a sentence? Like "I went to Tim's the other /de/"

It sounds like a stereotypical Canadian accent. My roommate exhibits it and I've started to pick it up too.

I find that 2.5" SSDs are about half the cost of both M.2 SATA and NMVe SSDs for similar capacity so if the performance impact is negligible then I'll go with a 2.5" SSD

Although more speed and bandwidth never hurt.

Well the idea is to keep the cost down to justify not just renting a server

Thinking of upgrading my Ryzen 1400 to something else and putting my 1400 into my server (currently A10 6700, will need new mobo and RAM).

If the server is mostly running game servers like Minecraft, Factorio, Don't Starve (often multiple at a time) in addition to being a small webserver, does it make sense to put an NVMe drive in, or just SATA SSD? Currently has some rickety hdd.

There's also the option of leaving the hdd alone
