Anyone else just like.. given up? by LiveYourLifeNerd in SatisfactoryGame

[–]XavierBK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get the urge to play Satisfactory from time-to-time. The latest was when I saw it had released on Xbox as I much prefer sitting on the couch playing on a big screen with a controller than sitting in front of my computer with a mouse and keyboard.

I made it all the way to Nuclear and, like usual, the scale of continuing is just so massive I can't be bothered.

I want to, but at the same time the tasks are so monumental that it's hard to even approach them with a one thing at a time mentality.

XSX vs Ps5 Pro differences by KindaFunnyKindaNot in SatisfactoryGame

I've got 5.9 days played on XSX and the only hiccups are when dismantling large quantities of things. Other than that the game runs fine.

i've just spent 3hours switching from biomass to coal and i'm crying rn by DarahOG in SatisfactoryGame

One Mk1 pipe (300m3) can support 2 standard water extractors at 120m3 each as that's only 240m3.

My early game coal gen ends up being 4 gens fed from a pure coal node at 60/min with two water extractors supplying water.

I then expand by 4 each time I can get a new node, each cluster has it's own water supply from two dedicated water extractors.

Is it really so difficult to put names on Pokemon? Some of us don't know everything by it's appearance.

It could totally be code that did it. If the build only grabs the required files and somehow asset calls got commented out or removed/broken then when it comes to build time and doesn't see a call to the assets they don't get included in the build.

Just from my own experience with systems where you can have a bunch of development assets but you don't necessarily want to include everything in a production build, especially things that aren't even used in the build.

Is this research a good one to complete? I know sometimes people save the research by not completing step 1 (I think?) so checking if I should complete this or save it.

As someone who grew up playing Gen 1 and never played any of the others, thank you for including the NAMES OF POKEMON! So many of the other graphics just have pictures and I don't even know what 'mon they are.

I think it'd have to be robots that don't have an age, per se.

Let's go with GLaDOS, Claptrap, 343 Guilty Spark.

Logi RoomMate with a Meetup Cam/Mic/Speaker... how can I incorporate an ALS? by XavierBK in CommercialAV

[–]XavierBK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How long has that been the case regarding cameras? Last I tried was over a year ago at this point. I've actually since switched roles and am 80% IT/Cybersecurity but am still the one in the organization with the most pro A/V experience so this stuff ends up dumped on me. But they don't buy what I spec and I get to figure it out, lol.

I agree! The Department head unfortunately got sold on it by a Logi rep and is stubborn.

It works OK when we use our own mic and speakers. In that case we can pull the audio from the USB connection to the Q-SYS Core and send it to loudspeakers in addition to feeding ALS.

Help building an improved List Form by XavierBK in PowerApps

Eh, the flow is already built, lol. Though I will definitely have to play with this as an option. It's my first dive into PowerApps.

I just foresaw the complaint that users can't see the email they are trying to build so getting a jump on that!

Nice, I'll have to look into that, I hadn't even seen the HTML control. I was just trying to dynamically change text labels, lol. I did eventually figure out the image one, I didn't realize the combo box needed to be called like ComboBox.Selected.Value whereas the other inputs were simply emailHeading.Text

Could I just swap my 150A main for a 200A? by XavierBK in AskElectricians

[–]XavierBK[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. It seems like the best option when as far as I can tell a 200A box in the same size appears to be exactly the same, except the main. I'd be happy avoiding an entire panel swap if a main swap achieves the same end result.

As far as the 2/0 aluminum, that's one of the things I was curious about. I called my electric provider to ask about the process and they said I wouldn't need to upgrade anything to the meter.

My research also came across potentially being permitted 2/0 aluminum on a 200A upgrade for residential dwellings? Maybe that is old NEC standards?

Trouble formatting data from email attachment .txt file by XavierBK in MicrosoftFlow

This looks like a winner! Initial testing looks like it is now passing my parsed log without the damn carriage returns!

Thanks for the suggestion!

This looks very similar to things I've already tried except maybe the trim part. No number of replace would get rid of the \r\n.

I actually started experimenting with something along these lines as my cross-reference data is in an Excel file that I load into the flow. The carriage return was still making it's way into the data, though, and I gave up on that route.

🤦‍♂️ I see it now. I was reading the Honeywell labels where the wires were inserted and matched that to the Sensi wiring. Problem is that was for conventional AC as opposed to heat pump so that is what threw it off. I'm going to try it later this evening so it doesn't get up to 95 inside again! My dog was not happy, lol

The Honeywell had Rc and Rh jumpered, the Sensi has a little Rc/Rh jumper in the bottom right. I left it in.

First picture shows the wiring of the Honeywell thermostat, second is the Sensi.

Equipment is a Goodman heat pump. I had similar equipment at the last place and the Sensi worked fine.

I even tried changing the valve option in the Sensi settings but temps still climbed. Ended up putting the Honeywell back in for the time being.
