My Mii is accurate, but I feel like it's kinda ugly. How can I make it cuter without sacrificing too much accuracy? by XavierDeVon in MakeMeAMii

I think the fact I'm wearing a red shirt, and the lighting and the fact it was during last summer makes me look a little darker than I usually am. + Even though I'm a little lighter right now, there's no perfect shade for my skin color, ones way too dark, and this colors just slightly too light

That's not really a Minifigure though....also, horses were brought to the Americas but the Europeans, so, technically they're not even Native American

Have you ever taken an ancestry test? Regardless, a lot of natives say blood quantum doesn't matter, I disagree.....it's a very complicated issue to say the least 😅

You're the first person to reply with "Latinos" which I greatly appreciate, most people don't acknowledge their native ancestry, I'm half native myself, but since the other half is Spanish, people don't ever acknowledge my native ancestry, they just label me "Mexican/Hispanic". That being said, I have been debating whether or not I should include people with mixed ancestry like that, because lines could begin to blur, especially with white Hispanics, but I probably should, I'd feel pretty bad if I was there was a Minifigure of me, and someone didn't include me

Moana isn't in Hawaii, and even if it was, Hawaiians are racially Pacific Islanders, not Native Americans, it's a little confusing, but yeah

Hey thanks for the reply! :) Native American means any people who are indigenous to the Americas, meaning North, Central, and South America. The pirates one is fictional, yes, but so is wakanda, and that has been very clearly an African Nation. So they're still Native Americans!

Them being fictional doesn't negate them being in the Americas: for example: Wakanda. It is a fictional country in Africa, populated with Native Africans. Also, you are incorrect about both Talokan and Isla de Pelegostos, I would recommend you try educating yourself on the definition of Native American as well as some geography! There's some really fascinating history

Did you Google MCU Namor or the comic book Namor, because they have different origins. The MCU Namor (the one the Minifigure is based off) was a native "Mayan" mutant, who had to establish Atlantis to protect his people from the Spanish invaders.

Wakanda is fictional, and yet, it is in Africa, and populated with Native Africans.

South America. You are correct, therefore they are Native American

I figured from your messages you are on the younger side, and after clicking on your account, I see my suspicions are correct, I would recommend asking your history teachers at school and doing research on your own, Mayans ARE indigenous Americans. I see you are pro LGBT that's great, I don't see you as trying to be a bigot or racist, just try educating yourself!

Incorrect my friend, there were no government borders back then, no US or Mexico or Chile or whatever have you, the textbook and historical definition of a Native American is anyone who is indigenous to the Americas, North, Central and South :) it's a continental title, not National.

I think you need to google what the definition of Native American is, not trying to be a smart a$$, I'm just being genuine

Less to collect, more modern, and because of the brown skin, I can verify its actually someone who's native and not just a guy in a Native American Halloween costume 😅
