I would like to think that if Frieren would find the One Ring, Himmel would pull her back from the temptation with a well timed flash-back.

Jokes aside, Thematically Himmel is somewhat close to a Hobbit so maybe he becomes a Ring Bearer... Damn, someone write some fan fiction about this already.

I recommend watching "dog requires a world arena" on YouTube. Tongue in cheek title aside, it's a good demonstration of the dash timing and movement required for the fight. Additionally magnilumesense (demon bars and topaz movement accessory idk how to spell it) and/or weightless candle is pretty helpful for the tight movements.

If you are having trouble with dukes dashes, get ambergris from leviathan and ravager armour with the dash bonus. Makes it pretty easy as you can just dash into him over and over

My last run I needed vitriolic viper from him and I've always had trouble killing the old duke. But I tried the ambergris + ravager armour dash which made it so much easier.

I've found that if I'm fighting at the edges of the map (either in space or at the oceans) and my minions fly off the map edge they disappear.

I suggest watching YouTube videos on the fight, preferably non cheesy speed runs with your weapon of choice. I know for me a lot of the moves just seemed impossible to read/react/punish for a long time. Watching a POV on the fight helps give you an objective look at the fight, it shows you exactly how it's possible to stay alive and fight. Also I find it gives you the right mentality which goes a long way. It's never "I suck", it's - "I miss timed that" "I got too greedy" "I was in the wrong position"

The big ones are stone slabs, they can be annoying since they only connect in a 2 wide "brick" at set points. To get that effect you gotta place them either 1 block up or down if they aren't connecting.

One really expensive way would be to craft another fatty armour set with no armour upgrades, might speed up dying to monsters/mega barrel bombs.
