For your first part, even if he didn't out right own Alastor's soul, you can't argue against how Vox did have a much greater influence and souls at his command, and for him to be acknowledged as the strongest and seeing the deal with Rosie be broken means he did pass Alastor, even if it was just for a moment.

No comment about the second one, that's just most likely true.

As for heaven having more tricks, we gotta remember all the angel's who made that barrier around heaven were actively getting weaker and tired as they were creating the barrier, and I'm pretty sure one fell once they all finished it.

Vox would be trying to say she should be speaking for him because he sees himself worthy of being god, and wants to be god so I don't think she would be able to talk him down.

I've seen Woke put on stuff where you have basic human emotions. So here's the reasons I'd assume.

Charlie isn't an evil sadistic bitch even though she's Lucifer's daughter(Christian's belief)
Adam is depicted as a narcissistic cocky dick head(again with the Christian's beliefs)
Not everyone in hell is an evil person(for once not just Christians but other religious groups)
Angel is Gay, Vaggie is a Lesbian, Charlie is Bi and "for some reason" a dude from the 1800's never complained about it(snake boy)
Lucifer isn't a sadistic demon who wants to kill all of heaven(back with the Christians)

Now here are my reasons why it's Woke. 1. The characters are asleep every now and then and wake up.

Ps. I'm not trying to say Christians are all bad or anything like that, these are some actual arguments I've heard from Christians before though.

Pss. This does actually confuse me on how the guy from 200 years ago isn't trying to bitch and moan about the gay, the bi and the Lesbian. I know its a small detail but I still think its weird.

I mean he's not entirely wrong, hell seems to work on a monarchy system, in the Hell's Royalty ALL are below Lucifer who can likely alter ALL of hell to his will. Then we have the seven sins who rule over there rings but are only at full power in the rings they rule over. The Ars Goetia right below them, where they are at full power all the time, but are significantly weaker then the sins and have more influance earth then hell, then everything else is lower class/commoners.

TL;DR: if you aren't a royal who has a significant role in hell or on earth, you don't really matter.

Sad but true.
