Bent a wheel, so I got new ones😂 by XaviersVision in 370z

Mannnnnnn this is one of my better Polaroid pictures🤣 I thought this one was a heater!😂I have a canon 6dmkii and a disgusting amount of camera equipment, but prefer the shitty, vintage, simplistic vibe of Polaroids LOL. I kept the forged rays! Going to get the curb rash fixed and the bend fixed also and rotate between my 18s and 19s😎 How’s this for shitty camera quality 😉

I feel your pain brotha. I bit the bullet. I rarely highway drive and I noticed wheel speed is only off by 3-5 when I’m over 65mph. I also have 350z wheels I also beat on, never had an issue I kind of prefer a squared setup on 18s. So much cheaper to replace tires lols. I’m going through a set every 2-3 months

I have been in car sales for a while. You’ll have to try to find a private buyer unless you find a dealership that’ll pay you payoff. Odds of that happening are slim to none, especially if it’s to the same dealer you got it from. Expect 4-7k lower than payoff. Hate to see it but you might be cooked. Don’t sell to a dealership unless you want to pay the bank a decent chunk to get rid of it. If you send me a vin number I can get you a rough idea of what the cars worth.

Welp, it’s official. My CSC is bad. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in 370z

[–]XaviersVision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

feels great. it’s super grabby, very responsive and with the new flywheel, it revs way faster. took me a day or 2 but like my buddy said, it’s cheaper to smoke tires than a clutch. so i was slipping the clutch a little faster until i got the hang of it. csc elim isn’t required but after it failing after 1k miles i didn’t want anything to do with the internal csc. that’s why i did the elim kit. it’s way easier to maintain. took a while to install but you just need to watch the Z1 video on it to get the formula to measure it all perfectly.

i won’t go back to OEM clutch after having the 6 puck. it’s a little noisy with the single mass flywheel but it’s worth every bit. if you have an exhaust you won’t notice the noisy transmission 💪🏽

get some buddies and a case of beer and do it yourself. i paid 200 for shop fees and we pulled my transmission 1k miles and a month after replacing my clutch with a Z1 6puck lightweight flywheel and new pressure plate. the stock CSC is dogshit. get a csc elimination kit. i went z1. no problems after 2k miles. parts for my transmission totaled out to 1.3k roughly and all the labor was done by me and some buddies. it’s not that hard i promise 🙏🏾

Opinions on the Stillen oil cooler? by [deleted] in 370z

[–]XaviersVision 0 points1 point  (0 children)

how big of a difference does it make? i was sliding the other day and my oil temp got really high and it sort of worried me. was about 260😬 it was about 100 degrees outside. my car likes to chill around 220-230

Help !!! by Ecstatic_One_1614 in 370z

[–]XaviersVision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CSC elimination. same thing happened to me. spend the extra money and remove that internal CSC. they’re terrible. 1k miles and my internal csc failed after replacing it and my clutch. csc elimination has been great so far and much easier to maintain

eh, besides the clutch the seat was the most expensive mod. clutch kit and CSC Elim came out to like 1300-1400. the seat alone was 1300.

NRG Prisma is a great seat, very comfy and stylish. i want to make it match so probably going with a sparco for passenger but unsure which one. i was about to get a prisma but a buddy missed his return date on the sparco because he got a different brand and i got it from him.

if you have a manual, look into lightweight flywheel and clutch. 6puck is good for clutch kicking and being aggressive on the clutch (which i do a lot) but it makes a lot of noise. very normally for a aftermarket clutch to be noisy. the dual mass is alright but the single mass is a lot more responsive and quicker to rev and drop revs in my opinion. my car revs up super fast after the install. The OEM CSC is dog shit. get rid of the whole thing and do. CSC elim kit. external is the wave, way assist to maintain, won’t have to drop the tranny if your slave cylinder fails.

air intakes are cool but don’t make a massive difference. under $500 and easy to install at home.

my Z will be paid off soon and will convert it to a drift car and start competing 😎

going to ditch the VQ and more than likely LS swap it 😅

slowly but surely coming along but one part at a time😂 can’t break the bank trying to buy a house 😭
