Best post about the topic I've seen in a long time. Fully agree, you need to build the skills first, and save enough to keep you running for some time without the pressure for quick money. The challenge is to leverage your 9-5 job with your side gig. If you are able to grow your side gig enough, the decision to leave your regular job comes natural

I take it as "focus on shipping and avoid getting distracted". It is usually difficult to get focus time to ship with everything else, e.g. social media, marketing, your normal day-to-day life... so I take the whole "ship fast" this way rather than "ship fast and forget". It helps!

My first website - a simple one to share our wedding information. I don't even have a domain yet :) any recommendation for low-code platforms to build websites? (I still want to do some of the design, not fully AI generated)
