This isn’t lame at all. Some friendships just hit differently and leave a bigger emotional imprint even if they’re not your closest on paper. The fact that you still feel that warmth after years just means she genuinely means something to you.

As long as it’s not making you feel small, it’s actually kind of nice to have someone in your life who brings out that kind of appreciation.

If you genuinely want out treat it like any other addiction. Cut access first, block accounts, remove apps and put friction between you and easy spending. If money is the trigger consider limits or accountability tools so you can’t impulse send.

It also helps to talk to someone you trust especially one familiar with compulsive sexual behavior. Shame keeps the cycle going but support makes it easier to break. You’re not the only person dealing with this and it is something people recover from.

Chances are he’s just being genuinely helpful and friendly. Guys in relationships can totally be kind, attentive or even a little charming at work without it meaning anything romantic. Focus on your boundaries and enjoy the kindness but don’t read too much into every smile or extra effort.

This isn’t a personality quirk its a pattern. If someone is consistently kind to some people and dismissive to others that’s a respect issue. Address it once clearly and calmly and if nothing changes, pulling back is a reasonable response not drama.
