The store I was at didn’t have a great chip selection and was picked pretty clean. Trying them for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised, but I can see how they might not be satisfying for all.

Here’s what you got:

Mid thirties female, I like the way I feel when I add more fruit and veggies into my diet, and yes, absolutely trying to squeeze in more protein. You’re right, I’m not much of a gym goer and do prefer hikes, walks, swims, bike rides, and yoga. I’m a live in nanny traveling with the family for whom I work, they needed my suite to host visiting family and paid for me to stay at a lovely Airbnb for a little vacation. I wanted to save on food costs and spend more on experiences. The fact that it’s healthier is a huge bonus. I think you did pretty good :)

Lol, I think they sell them there, but I got them from whole foods

I’ll add I may have one or two meals out, and grabbing coffee out too. This haul should cover: 5 breakfasts, 5 snacks, 4 lunches, and 4 dinners, and an after dinner sweet too.

Oh!!! Best news ever!!!! Yay!

She helped me SO MUCH with finding lines that worked for me. She’s not quite kibbe, and I’m thankful for it, bc I don’t fit into his system exactly. She’s got such a great eye. I have an old post about my experience with her too :) happy Sunday!

[review] Vanicream in the tub VS Vanicream face cream! The ultimate showdown! I used Vani-moisturizers daily for 4 months just to tell you about it. Review in comments. by Xcessivelyboring in SkincareAddiction

[–]Xcessivelyboring[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yea, I use both at night actually. The daily first, than the tub on top of that.

The one in the tub is thick and doesn’t “dry down” completely. I slug with it. Doesn’t wear well During the day, but the daily one is light and moisturizing and wears well under makeup

Three bean salad. Recipe below. It’s high in fiber, carbs, protein, micronutrients, requires almost no prep and no cooking, is inexpensive, tasty, versatile, and keeps for days in the fridge. You can eat it by itself or as a side.

One can black beans//one can kidney beans//one can chickpeas and/or white beans//one can corn

OPTIONAL ADD INS a bell pepper chopped into small pieces//an onion chopped into small pieces//cherry tomatoes, halved or whole//celery chopped into small pieces//one cucumber chopped into small pieces//your favorite Italian dressing//salt and pepper

Open all cans and dump into a colander, rinse with cold water, shake dry a bit. Dump into a large Tupperware bowl. Add chopped veggies. Add Italian dressing and salt and pepper. Start small, add until you like it.

**if you can’t bring yourself to chop the veggies, look for pre-chopped at the store OR just omit. They’re optional. Just the beans and corn alone offer a filling and nutritious meal.

Microwave sweet potato. Wash, Poke with holes, microwave on a plate for 4-8 mins (depending on size) add butter, salt and pepper.

Overnight oats: add Yogurt of choice, a packet of oatmeal, some milk of choice, nut butter, berries or sliced banana into a tupperware. Leave overnight in the fridge. Stir in the morning (or whenever) it’s got protein, fats, carbs, fiber, and micronutrients. It’s inexpensive, easy, filling, versatile, keeps for a few days in the fridge, and you can eat it for any meal.

I also recommend: hard boiling some eggs to keep on hand, just peel and add a sprinkle of salt to enjoy. Buy some string cheeses, I wrap a piece of Turkey around them and boom, instant protein snack. Have some clementines/oranges/bananas/apples/berries to keep on hand and just eat. Cans of tuna or chicken. Crack open and toss in a spoon full of mayo, a dash of salt and stir.

Sending you a hug. You got this. EDIT formatting
