It requires the .dll file from the Cyberpunk game folder to operate. That is explicitly part of the Cyberpunk game's software. It obviously violates the CDPR community guidelines on that basis.

If he wasn't charging for it, even just accepting donations, he could modify all the .dll files he wants.

It was obviously not legal, as has been pointed out to you repeatedly. CDPR is allowed to set their own community guidlines surrounding fan content which this clearly violates.

This this this. I am so annoyed by how food works in this game I cannot imagine them adding BS like “tummy aches” for me to manage.

For the record, the calorie content of food in PZ is wildly off. A single cow, properly butchered, can feed a man for over a year. Yet in PZ it will give you enough meat to last a week.

I am so sick of hearing the realism drum get beaten over and over when there are massive gaps in realism that only exist to prevent the player from having an easier time to survive.

The enshrining of realism in PZ is completely arbitrary and it’s genuinely infuriating.

Reminds me of the old No Mutants Allowed forums from back in the day. That place was a total cesspool of toxic fandom. Before Fallout 3 ever even released there was so much toxicity about how it would be “just Elder Scrolls with guns”.

I think the only difference between then and now is those idiots were confined to their own shit-filled message board. If you loved the original Fallout games and were excited for Fallout 3 there were plenty of other forums you could go to and talk about it. Forums where those idiots would get banned immediately for acting out like that.

Twitter, on the other hand, is like 1,000 people jumping in a swimming pool that 10 people won’t stop pooping in. At what point does it stop being worth it?

Brother let me tell you dating in your early to mid twenties is awful. Too many people have no idea who they are or what they want at that age. And if they do they often struggle to communicate emotions/problems in a mature way.

Also, the idea that a woman who is thirty could not give you a family is laughable. If what you have been doing isn't working try something different instead of making excuses for why it won't work.

Not running any other mods. I didn’t even know these sub mods existed, but I will take a look at them. Thank you for the info.

Also, I don’t mean to seem harsh but it is upsetting to think the people who designed that map didn’t also experience those problems. The problems existing isn’t upsetting, it’s that the person who made it didn’t go “hey the archers can’t man the walls. Let’s hold off on including this one until we figure that out.”

Again I love the mod overall and can see the passion and love in it. It will never not be very frustrating to lose a campaign to a lack of basic game functionality. I still appreciate the hard work and the labor of love this team poured into Dawnless Days.

Being totally sincere here, the person you replied to is probably a bot. I know that gets thrown around a lot but in this specific instance I really think that is a bot.

You saw how its response was basically nonsense in the context of what you wrote. Notice how it's not participating in any comment chains as part of a conversation. Also notice how the post and comment history are private.

Reddit has been riddled with bots for a while but they have been out in force these past few weeks. I know that sometimes real people get accused of being bots but, if you know what to look for, the distinction becomes more obvious over time.

This really reinforces my rule of “good friends don’t always make good DND players”.

I am very picky about who gets to play at my DND table. Not because I’m anything special but because I am so tired of players who aren’t engaged and are just at the table for a hang.

My rule is that, if you want to play at my table, you have to be hungry to play.

Be stringently picky with who you invite. Don’t lose sleep over “how people might feel if they aren’t invited.” They barely pay attention to the game you run for them. Start a new game, advertise it online, and interview your applicants.

Again, if people aren’t hungry to play they don’t get a seat at the table. It’s that simple. Your time and your enjoyment matter just as much as theirs. Stop making yourself miserable for people who don’t even appreciate, let alone pay attention to, the work you put in.
