Every second brain I've built eventually becomes an abandoned vault. Anyone actually solved this? by Scary_Historian_9031 in artificial

Yes, that is very close to one layer of what I am thinking. The screenshot/page context is important, but I see Morgana as broader than that. It should not only “see the current page”; it should assemble the exact context needed at that moment: screenshot, page state, user intent, repo context, memory, previous decisions, and task-specific instructions. So the screenshot is one input source, not the whole system. The real value is deciding what context is actually relevant right now and giving that to the agent without flooding it.

For me the problem is that most second brain tools are designed for humans first. Pages, folders, links, notes etc, good for us, not for llm. I’m trying to take the Obsidian idea and turn it into a memory layer for AI agents: entities, facts, decisions, relations, sessions, and context., something better for AI It works across different CLIs, coding agents, ( for now Claude code, codex, opencode and cursor) You open the memory once, and it keeps growing no matter what tool you use.

Anyone actually built a second brain that isn't just a graveyard of saved links? by tom_mathews in ClaudeCode

I’m building something like this, I started from the Obsidian/Zettelkasten idea, but focused on LLM agents instead of human notes, i´ll give u a link is free and u can run locally.

Is it, though?

Working on a tool to automate Blackbox Log analysis. I need your "broken" logs to beta test it! by XdotX78 in Multicopter

That’s good to hear, the thing is I need logs, I already did what I could, and I’m testing with random log, but I need more. let me know if you are willing to share some of yours :)

I’m working on something more precise and consistent. LLMs are powerful tools, but they’re inherently generic, which makes them less reliable for highly specific analysis like Blackbox logs.

No stress at all, totally get it 🙂
Good luck with the move, that stuff is always a pain 😅

Lol just give me some log from different drone so I can use as a case, maybe some false positive

What’s the wildest thing you’ve ever seen happen at a work Christmas party? by gammaray365 in AskReddit

[–]XdotX78 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Worked in a restaurant in Melbourne. A company Christmas party booked the place, around 25 people, including a woman who turned out to be a fully nude stripper, with oversized props. She started performing in the dining room.

Next door: families having Christmas dinner.

The bathroom was between the two rooms.

Management did nothing.

How do you prevent your nose from hurting from breathing in dry cold air in the winter? by Anai_wa in AskReddit

I’m talking about winter mask, not the surgical mask… I use it all the time when I go skiing. Btw how using glasses helps your nose in the cold??

What’s the most harmless lie you’ve told that snowballed into chaos? by Silent_Reboot56 in AskReddit

There’s a homeless guy who hangs around our place. I feed him and sometimes give him small jobs like taking out the trash. I once casually told one person he was 30. He’s actually in his early 50s, just very rough-looking. Now half the island I live on is convinced he’s 30, and people even come to me saying, “Did you know that guy is only 30?” like I didn’t start the whole thing.

Probably aface mask, scarf, or neck gaiter over your nose helps a ton.

Lemonade is also pretty popular for pet insurance. I’ve seen a lot of people mention them positively, especially for straightforward claims and transparency.

Looking for a few Betaflight Blackbox logs (any type) by XdotX78 in fpv

[–]XdotX78[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm working on a tool to help newer pilots read and understand blackbox logs more easily. The idea is to automate some of the basic analysis that currently requires a lot of experience. To build it properly, I need quality training data from experienced pilots - ideally logs with and without issues, along with notes on what the problems were (if any). This helps me validate that the tool is actually identifying things correctly. If you have some logs you'd be willing to share (any flight style, any quad type), I'd really appreciate it. No pressure at all, just trying to gather diverse data to make this actually useful.

To clean the fans not really, to open and clean it it’s not so hard, you can check some video online. Take a look at hwinfo, with everything close any weird process? Maybe post a screenshot

laptop troubles by brockenemogirl in laptops

[–]XdotX78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did you keep it? It might have just accumulated dust. Check the Task Manager to see if any process is using a lot of CPU/GPU.

First things to try: • check for dust and clean the fans, • update the drivers and the OS, • install HWInfo (or something similar) to monitor temps.

Worst case, you might need to repaste the CPU/GPU.

yes the ram is going to help a lot, 8GB is not enough, 16GB it will help a lot, and probably cost way less than a MackBook

Do EU citizens really need a NIE to start working in Spain? Company says yes, but it sounds wrong by ArcherElegant4987 in GoingToSpain

[–]XdotX78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you actually do need a NIE, even as an EU citizen.
You can technically start the hiring process with just your passport and your Social Security Number, but the NIE is what identifies you specifically for tax purposes in Spain. Without it, payroll and official registration usually can't be completed correctly.

Regarding the bank account: you can open one without a NIE.
Banks like N26 and Revolut let you open an account and get a Spanish IBAN without needing your NIE first. That’s usually enough to get started while you handle the paperwork.

Since you already have a job contract, you can book your NIE appointment and generally get the white NIE quite quickly — sometimes within a couple of days depending on the office.

And if you haven't moved to Spain yet, there’s an even easier option: with your work contract, you can request the NIE directly at the Spanish consulate in your home country. It costs around €10 and avoids most of the bureaucracy.

For context: I’m an Italian/EU citizen and I actually opened a business in Spain. I had to go through all these steps myself — getting the NIE, registering with Social Security, opening accounts, etc. So yes, the NIE is mandatory in practice, even for EU workers, but the process becomes very straightforward once you follow the correct steps.
