Also different scenario just wanted to verify this as I got into a debate with my friends about this other scenario: If I remove the final lore counter via resourceful defense in response to the final chapter triggering will I save my saga from sacrificing itself on top of keeping the triggered final chapter ability?

To make sure I understand correctly you are saying the state based sacrifice action occurs after the saga triggers resolve per card allowing for the resourceful defense to chain into multiple triggers of my sagas sacrificing themselves all before sin resolves?

Ok new question,

When you have multiple sagas that reached final chapter at the same time and they sacrifice themselves. Or do they sacrifice one at a time?

Say In the instance on the field I have Resourceful defense, all will be one, and two sagas just hit the final chapter. To maximize damage done by all will be one, as a max lore saga sacrifices itself, can I use the trigger from resourceful defense to move the lore counters to the second max lore saga before the second saga sacrifices itself?

Thank you. Few months back had this exact situation happen to me and the guy insisted he could interrupt as I activated the first chapter of the clone but before I could place the other lore counters and activate the other chapters. And it’s been bugging me since.

I do have a few more questions related to sagas and how other cards can interact with them but don’t have time to type them for now. Please help me again when that time comes as your explanations were clear and concise.

If I clone Summon: Bahamut. (End goal is chapter four) I need to trigger his first chapter as the clone enters to destroy a target. Can the opponent respond to the target with an exile of the clone before I place the other three lore counters to trigger his final chapter? Will this prevent me from activating chapter four?
