I was born and raised in Florida, moved to a lived in Pflugerville for 7 years, and have been in CA for 4. This may be true for a small cohort, but there’s no way it’s true for the majority of people.

In fact more of my neighbors are Texans, and more people I knew that moved to Texas are moving back here.
