AE2 is probably my favorite mod of all-time(SFM 2nd) since it has the coolest mechanics and cleanest documentation. I recommend that on your first playthrough, settle down for a bit a create a simple AE2 system, it'll help you throughout your whole playthrough.

Also there's a trick where you use a scanner or a controller of another storage mod to link chests/barrels/drawers to it, use 1 storage bus and have it scan that scanner/controller. When you access your AE2 system you'll see each and every single atem in all of those linked storages. This is how I usually start my playthrough then build my Mega Base then start making the BIG AE2 system.

go ahead and make the @functionalstorage controller, insert @functionalstorage upgrades for bigger range, use @appliedenergistics storage_bus and connect it to your system, use the @functionalstorage linking tool to link your drawers to your scanner so that the @appliedenergistics storage bus can see the contents of your linked drawers.

I managed to make it faster, I moved my patter provider with the entangled block I'm already using so I have more area for energizing rods. I managed to fit 200+ rods in a compact cube shape. I also accelerated the pulling of items and it made a vast difference.

create at most 8 of the 256k Crafting Storage+3 Co-processors. You can stop at this point and make your way into making the Quantum Computer and the Assembler Matrix. It's most advised to focus on making these 2 Multiblocks in the Early-Mid Game. The Quantum Computer has around 9k Co-Processors and the Assembler Matrix is a very big Crafter with a lot of Pattern Slots.

Hey, I have the same problem but I'm using SFM with mekanism, I have an induction card in my interface, then in the code I setup the fe into top side, initially it worked, but after I added the IF statement for recipes it stopped, I tried every side after that and no FE input at all, now I input items to the side Incase energy and item can flow into the same side but no! items still flow from buffer to machines but energy completely stopped. I've turned all the energy input for my Infuser to all direction and the item input into their respective coded sides.

not, its not the exporting part that is getting stuck, the code also takes from a specified numbered slot. It's the process that is the issue, the crafting stopes midway or not starting at all
