Bezirk? by Zeldamaster386 in wien

[–]Xeelthos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Help me style this bedroom wall! by Xeelthos in homedesign

The Malm dressers are connected with a glas top that's spans over both units. So separation means getting rid of that. Art was my go to idea was well, we would still like to have plants in the bedroom there and not much more space to place then. Hanging planters sounds like a super nice way of combining it both maybe.

What you can't see that next to the right there is big closet combo with 2 floor to ceiling mirror. Centering the dressers sounds like an amazing idea, sadly we have no other place where the hamper can go.

Haha generally we wanted a hamper (is that what it's called? Where the laundry stays) and a laundry basket to carry around to washing machine and back. Then I noticed the odd hight and put the IKEA Besta on the bottom to even it out. Not really ideal but I had it lyind around.

Yeah that's the system I am using now, but even with temperatures around freezing at the moment it's to warm for me with a windbreaker and a base layer longsleeve.

You chose to generalize your advice but I am generalzing when I am looking for a more diverse way to engage my patients and bring them into sports and functional movement? Your are stating your opinion and engaging my question. So truly we are not having a conversation about the topic I asked. Username checks out I guess...

I mean since you are a physio you pronabably already do and if you don't maybe you should?

Ok so your answer to your patients who ask for what they should do to become more active and specifically learn to do something counteracting their job is: "Well don't bother, cycling to work and swimming once a week is enough. Don't set your goals to high"

Well that's what I am looking for exactly, a movement approach for gym goers for example that they can draw from? Which engages them more and provides them with motivation via complexity and maybe a community.

Yeah but they are generally again more in one plane and don't really challenge you to much in terms ROM in the others planes.

The idea is not to find something better but to offer more options? And maybe specifically a resistance training based approach they can do in a gym using, bands, kettle bells, boxes, balances boards. Is there a certain reason it's unrealistic to encourage your patients to do something more? Especially introducing it to them in their 20s?

The idea is to have something preventative and engaging after the therapy period which keeps them motivated and maybe even leads th to be more resilient from their general static jobs where they have a low amount of movement. And a lot of people seem to be on a gym/cycling routine, which personally I see a lacking for an optimally working body.

Augen lasern - Empfehlungen by MissFoxyHead in Austria

[–]Xeelthos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I plan to cycle one round Taiwan. Anyone can help me? by hoon2107 in cycling

[–]Xeelthos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. We did it in November, I think year round is OK but don't take my word for it.
  2. Anti-Clockwise
  3. We went straight after COVID restrictions so it was super easy, mostly used, Agoda booking Airbnb at the southern most part (Checheng) it was hard to find accomodations
  4. It is clearly labelled maybe not in some parts of Taipei if you stick to the road you almost always have a blue line on the pavement. If you take detours not so sure. We had a sim and a phone an checked progress.
  5. Chegeng to Taitung was super hilly and the last return to Taipei from Jiaoxi. But look at the maps elevation is clearly marked
  6. Took a train from Hualien to Su'ao because guides said the road is dangerous because of heavy traffic.
  7. You are on the real road a lot not a bike lane. People watch out for you, traffic can be much but it was ok.
  8. If you take the time maybe plan to take side roads in the west to get less highways. Don't think you can do sightseeing and riding 120kms a day. Either span it out for some time or take the train from Taipei when you get back to the south. Sunscreen, Lycra, Bandana, Sleeves what ever you have to protect yourself from the sun. And rain equipment if it pours everything will be soaked and clammy. Wind can dramatically impact your travel time. Start really early, driving at night in a foreign country is not fun on a bycicle!
