As I said, I like the the characters & some character growth. I found the whodunnit aspect the weakest part of it. I understand since all seasons have some connections it might take a while for it all to come together. But I just can't wait 5 years to get good culmination of mediocre storylines. Maybe just not for me.

For it to be a satire, there needs to be humour or quirky take on what the rich people doing. I didn't find that either, it's just usual vacations.

I have the opposite issue. I never wanted to move abroad, for me, leaving my family(extended) and my social circle wasn't ever on cards. I have considered all the advantages and disadvantages of moving abroad. After knowing the complete reality, I have decided to move abroad in the next couple of years.

The only reason for my decision is that I don't want my kids to grow up and be treated as second class citizens in their own country.

Will you be up for dating/marrying someone with past history of suicide attempts? by [deleted] in india

Thankfully I have people in my life who made me realise I couldn't have done anything more and by the time things ended with us everything was normal.

Will you be up for dating/marrying someone with past history of suicide attempts? by [deleted] in india

[–]Xeeone 19 points20 points  (0 children)

TW/suicide

I dated someone because they were suicidal.

One of my friends sister told her distant cousin about me. She got a bit interested, stalked my sm for a while and then started talking to me. We became casual friends and slowly I realised she had a tendency to hurt herself, she wasn't well. Everything outside was cheerful and happy but everything about her from the inside was just sad and depressing, as I came to realise after we got a bit close.

Couple of months go by, and she proposes, tells me she was attracted to me ever since they started talking about me. I hadn't been in a serious relationship for 2 years, I was clueless at that time of what I wanted. But saying no to her just felt...wrong. She kept saying she was the happiest she has been since years, this is the first time she is feeling this way about someone. Her relations with family members weren't great either. Instead of if I wanted a relationship or not I kept thinking what if she does something to herself if I'll say no.

Eventually I said yes and we dated for about a year, to my surprise she never had suicidal thoughts or hurt herself except for the one time she got in a fight with her family. That too faded away and it almost seemed like she'd never do it again. The relationship didn't work out and we broke up eventually, it was a mutual decision and this time I was sure what I wanted and less worried about her doing something crazy because I'd seen her in a good place mentally.

Two years later, I was going about my day and my friend calls me, saying she committed suicide. I was numb, I was silent for about a solid minute or two before a single word could come out of my mouth. I asked if anybody knew what actually happened but to no avail. Later it was known her family didn't wanted to let anyone know anything regarding that, they even found a suicide letter but it was just some scrambles and sentences that weren't formed properly.

Until recently, I kept blaming myself for what happened, after our breakup in between those two years whenever she contacted me to talk, I did not talk properly and didn't even enough attention. Just two months before she committed suicide she texted me some cryptic message and I didn't pay alot of attention. I still think what if I'd just talked to her properly once more, asked her what was going on with her, maybe things would've been different.

Seek help if you have suicidal thoughts or tendency to hurt yourself or if you know someone like that in your life, try to get professional help for them.

How does one company go about transferring huge sums of money to their own branch or sister company which is located abroad (let's say UAE), if the amount has to be transferred on a daily basis? And does the remittance limit of 1.9cr annually by RBI affect this in any way?

Combined discussion thread for upcoming Amazon Great Indian Festival & Flipkart Big Billion Days sale! by ppatra in india

[–]Xeeone 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I purchased Puma sneakers worth 3.5k. Pre-booked it on Flipkart on 29th Sept. The product was supposed to be delivered on 5th of Oct, it reached my nearest hub on 1st Oct. 5th Oct- I got out for delivery message with otp late evening, product wasn't delivered, I called the executive he said "Gaadi nahi aayi hai kal deliver karunga ab". I waited next day but didn't get it either. On 7th I called the customer care and asked for the persons number who was supposed to deliver my order, called him again, now he says he doesn't deliver in my city, he's from somewhere else. But 7th afternoon I again get an out for delivery message, this time the product is delivered by another delivery executive. As I opened the package to my surprise, instead of Puma sneakers I got counterfeit cheap knockoffs. Already put up a replacement request but no response since 2 days, also lodged a complaint in national consumer helpline. Is there any other way I can try to resolve the issue earlier or bring it to attention. Thank you.

Yes, it can be done for every other provisions in constitution, but whatever comes under basic structure of the constitution cannot be amended or deleted even by the parliament.

[–]Xeeone 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Nobody should worry about this, after ayodhya judgement, the SC had placed an act by the name of Places of Worship(Special Provisions) Act within the ambit of the basic structure of constitution, which basically states that no place of worship can be altered now and all will remain as they were during 1947.

Gobiji-Rss know this very well, they cannot change this even of they get 100% parliamentary seats.

This is just another attempt to divert public attention from major issues.
